This adapter ring feels very sturdy. It fits smoothly onto my macro lens and is easy to remove from it. I am using the ring to attach a 35mm film negative and slide copier to my lens and so cannot comment on its ability to hold 60mm filters.

Just buy it, don't waste your money on the cheap alloy junk, no problem removing it from my filter unlike the cheap kits you can buy on here, you get what you pay for.

Adapter rings are not the most glamorous of photographic accessories, but the difference between very good ones, like the Breakthrough and some others is significant.Being anodised brass means problems such as 'tight' or binding threads is much, much less than even anodised aluminium.The Breackthrough has a 'scalloped' edge which makes gripping to install and undo is very easy, once you've experienced this feature you really appreciate it.Given the quality of materials and manufacture this is excellent value.

this 72-77mm ring allows me to use my 77mm 10 stop nd filter on my 50-140 fujifilm zoom as well as my 16-55 zoom. the cost of £24.00 may seem expensive but it is a very well made ring with a proper grip around the edge which makes it a lot easier to remove than many others. this has been made by someone who understands what a stepping ring should be and it has been made up to a standard and not down to a price.

I'm not usually a fan of step-up/ step down rings, it's another thing to lose, get too tight/stuck on a lens. But this one, especially with the 'knurled' edges is easy to put on, and more importantly take off. Means I can keep using v expensive but oversized Vari ND filter. Result.

I researched the various step-up filter rings available and am so glad I eventually chose this one. Yes there are much cheaper versions available, but this is a high quality, strong and well manufactured product. Spend the extra money, it will stand the test of time and you won’t regret it!

Screws on smoothly and accepts filters without cross threading. Good design. Good quality, if not a little expensive.
