I hope that flying probe doesn't take my eye out!
The thermometer works great, but the clip that holds it shut broke immediately. The folding probe is now the flying probe. It violently whips itself open if you barely touch it. If it ever stops working I could probably use it for self-defense.

Good for horizontal use
It's OK, reads quick, but the probe flips straight out, hard to hold over something hot, it won't stay the way it is pictured. Other than that it works very well. I bought three and tested them all, very good unit.,

Good but doesn't stay closed
Product worked as expected. Easy to use. Gives temps fairly quickly. Only reason for four stars instead of five is that the prong doesn't stay closed very well, and is constantly popping open when barely touched in drawer.

Would definitely recommend this product
Quick temperature results! Magnetic back makes keeping track of it a breeze. Would definitely recommend this product.
