Light Therapy Lamp, TaoTronics 10000Lux Sun Lamp with 3 Adjustable Brightness Levels & Timer Setting

I got this mainly for my wife but for us all to try. we've talked about getting a "SAD" lamp for a while as like many we struggle as the nights start o draw in and the days get shorter.We've had it a little while now and have used it every day, some days more than others but at least half an hour in a morning over breakfast.I'm it 100% convinced how effective it is but it does seem to help ease us in to the day.In terms of the lamp itself, it is a nice size and gives off a good light, it has three levels but to be honest we've hardly had it off the first setting as that seems bright enough. It's a solid enough build and feels pretty stable on the fold out stand.All in all we're pretty satisfied with this and would recommend it to anyone at the price it is you can't go wrong

This is a nice compact lightbox, which has three light settings on it. However, the first two light settings are pretty pointless as their too dim, the third being fairly bright. I have been using this daily to help me with getting up in the winter months and improve my mood. On reflection I can say that it has not helped with either, and in terms with helping to get up a normal bedside lamp with a daylight bulb is just as effective. I will say that I suffer from bi-polar disorder and therefore the depression I have in the winter is quite severe. I use to suffer from SAD in my 20's and in comparison I think that this lamp may have benefited me more then.

With the cost of this one I thought at least it would still be a nice light. So far it seems really good, the light it generates is bright, very clear and able to light up a room. I have been using it while working from home and thanks to it’s daylight light my eyes do not feel as strained. It certainly wakes you up when it is on and already my eyes feel less tired. I used it on Sunday morning after a late night and I would say I got going a bit faster than normal. I am interested to see how it does with longer use, as with anything like this it can be subjective and hard to know if psychological or definite effect but just from it reducing my eye strain and helping to get going in the mornings I can recommend it for that.Often in the winter months I get headaches quite often and lose energy, lack of daylight is often what people suggest could effect it so I am excited already.The light itself is pretty small and fits on a shelf happily. It has a fold out stand on the back as well as a hole for mounting it on a wall. Mains powered with a decent length cord. It looks nice and is a crisp white colour. The controls are easy and it has different brightness, the top one does blind you a little when you first put it on but it did certainly make the room look like it was filled with daylight from a window. It has a clear timer setting on along the bottom so you can time how much light you want or to make sure it goes off.So all round a great light, already helped with eye strain and the daylight balanced light makes everything a bit nicer in a room, the shorter winter days no longer seem such a dreaded thing. I think I will mainly use it while working and look forward to more improved results throughout the winter.

Nice little light with a £10 discount code. Very compact and It’s very bright LED on full setting but you can adjust to your desire so not too bright. You also can adjust how long you want it on. I generally set it 10 mins very high several times on the evening,Remember you don’t have to look directly in to the light it’s beneficial to have it just in the corner of your eyes. As your brain still picks up the benefits.

Simple light but really effective. Gives off a nice bright light which is easily adjusted with the touch buttons. Wife was skeptical but now she is using it in and around the kitchen in the mornings, says she likes the light better than the spotlights we have.Timer really useful, can potter about knowing the light will switch off after a certain time.Happy with the product and will probably buy a few more for other rooms where I work in house.

Good product

I used this for 20 mins full brightness for a week, felt brilliant really positive and energy, then forgot for 3 days and felt exhausted, cold and low on 4th day. A must for sad symptons.
