Almost Perfect
Pros:- Simple instructions- Perfect alignment- Excellent clarity- Fingerprint reader works flawlessly- Trapped dust hardly noticeable- Smooth to touchCons:- Rubbery feel that gets caught on nailThere's a few things I look for in screen protectors. The most obvious one is, if it protects the screen. Naturally, I haven't dropped my phone to test this out, nor do I plan to. That said, it's easy to make the logical leap to assume that a clear protective film glued on top of glass should protect the glass from superficial scratches and gentle impacts. At the very least, if the glass cracks, none of the shards would come off and start cutting up fingers. Other things that are important is clarity, alignment, and usability. The video instructions is pretty straightforward. No need to watch it more than once. There is one update; they no longer provide a foam block, but rather, just a foam cling, like the ones you put underneath carpets so they don't slide over hardwood. The guide you place on the USB-C port allows for perfect alignment. The only issue I ran into was dust getting trapped between the recently cleaned screen and the bottom of the uninstalled screen protector. Which then transferred onto the screen as I made the very first pass to apply the top half of the screen protector on my screen. Having immediately realized this mistake, I made sure to clean the screen once more with a little tape to pick up any loose debris from the lower half.I've always used glass screen protectors on my phones, ever since my Samsung Galaxy S2. I liked the clarity and smoothness of glass. Eventually, the oleophobic coating will wear off, but I still liked them. The problem with the LG Velvet is the curvature on the edge, and all the glass screen protectors I've seen and read about, only have glue on the outside rim. Which makes absolutely no sense, especially since the fingerprint reader is on the glass, and having a layer of air separating between the layers of glass will reduce its usability. So I decided to get this clear film protector instead. To my surprise, the clarity is just as good as a glass screen protector. The oleophobic coating seems to be as good/bad as many glass screen protectors, so not too concerned.Part of me hopes that the film will wear quickly, so I'll have an excuse to apply the 2nd of three included films. That said, I'm pretty happy with my first try. No bubbles, perfect alignment, no clearance issues with the phone case I bought (Ghostek Covert4). Even the tiny trapped dust particles on the top half of my screen are barely noticeable. My only gripe is probably the soft feel of the film protector. If I rest my fingernail on it briefly, it'll deform. In which case, the divot becomes a spot where I could scratch and get "caught" while swiping. This isn't really a problem, as it will "self-heal" within seconds. Just something to be aware of.

It's the simplest things that set this apart
It's damning of the screen protector that I rushed here to leave a 5* review moments after I finished installing this screen protector.First, I have the LG Velvet UW, which is a bane to find a decent screen protector and case for.The great: they have a direct link on the packaging to an installation video that has very simple, straightforward approach to ensuring you put it on correctly. I watched it twice through just to make sure I had all the steps down in the correct order, and I felt completely comfortable doing it. Also, 3 screen protectors around $10 price point is a good deal if they don't suck. These don't suck, and are a great value. The fabulous: they send you a small kit of tools to ensure it goes on correctly, which is a dramatic game changer. The felt-tipped card, bandaid style application of the screen, and the little guide for you to stick in the charging cable to align the screen protector ensured a perfect, easy install that was right the first time. The "Meh, it's alright": the screen protector smudges pretty easily. The bare phone screen wasn't nearly as noticeable with the oils in one's fingers showing up. If that's a deal breaker, may god have mercy on your soul...you should keep looking, but abandon all hope. This is the 4th one I've bought, and I'm outta patience, and this is fine, especially for the price.I can't comment on durability, yet, but if I haven't come back to edit this review, it's safe to assume that they're fine. If they are magic or total garbage in that department, I will return to update my review.Bottom line: I would travel back in time and hand this to myself when I purchased this phone if I could. It would save me a ton of heart break with crap quality ones. You'd be doing present and future you a favor if you gave these a try.

Works
I wish it wrapped more on this screen. The screen wraps around and this protector doesn't fully cover. Still keeps it from scratching, so I am using it.

Good, is it real?
I order this yesterday and got it today. Like how fast it got delivered. Application I thought was weird at first but, after watching the video, it was super easy. Much easier than I thought it was gonna be. I didn't think that I applied anything with how it appears on the screen but it is there. Not too thick, easy application, can't really say there are any issues there other than there is a weird rubbery feeling and, at first, thought I got dupped into buying something that didn't exists but it is nice. I don't know how much it really protects from the screen being cracked, not gonna test it, but it is worth it.

Perfect
I've spent a lot more for a lot less quality. These work perfect and are a great price.

Installed so easily, no screen creep
When I bought my LG Velvet, I picked up a brand name (Z**G) screen protector form the Verizon store because I always use them, and this was an emergency replacement phone. It went on well and worked fine. However over time (a couple of weeks) I noticed that the selfie camera was soon half covered by the protector. I wondered if I had really put it on that poorly. Watching it for the next couple of days it completely covered the camera and was starting to slide off the screen, which was a real problem for me.I came to amazon to find a replacement, hoping for the tempered glass I love, but all the reviews talked about fingerprint reader problems, So no go.After reading tons of reviews both on and off amazon I chose these LK screen protectors hoping that they would still feel smooth like glass, work with the fingerprint reader, and most importantly not creep up my screen.when they came, I watched the video they linked and installed the protector. The installation was so well thought out, and easy. Truly hard to mess up.They feel smooth and the fingerprint reader works as well as it did with no protector.I am super impressed, and three for this price is amazing. I will be buying these again when the need arises.

Not bad but not tempered glass
I actually bought these by accident thinking they were tempered glass screen protectors. They are not, but rather they are a thicker rubberized plastic film.As a result, I use these as a tempered glass screen protector screen protector. Meaning I install these over the tempered glass protector that I already have on the phone.I did NOT watch the installation video, but was able to figure out installation very easily without it.I will say you have to be incredibly careful, slow, and precise while installing these or you will get air bubbles that will not go away on their own.My recommendation when installing is to line up the bottom exactly where you want it, work out all the bubbles, and then use the wedge to push down the top part as you're removing the protective film. Do not just plop the screen protector on the phone and expect you have the bubbles magically disappear. You have to "roll" the protector onto the screen and remove the bubbles as you go.It's typically not recommended to have multiple screen protectors on your phone because it will effect the functionality of the fingerprint and touch screen capabilities. With that said, having this screen protector on top of a thick tempered glass protector does NOT effect the functionality of my phone.Fingerprint reader works just as well with it as it does without, and there is no issues with the touch screen capabilities. So if you're putting this directly on your screen I can't see you have any issues whatsoever.Pro tip: definitely take the time to center the protector on your screen. They are cut pretty accurately to the size of your screen and don't allow you much wiggle room (which is what you should be looking for in a screen protector) if you are off by even a hair, you will find the edges will roll and bubble and eventually peel off your phone.I can't attest to how well it will protect against cracks and falls, but the protector seems like it would be pretty decent at preventing scratches.Con: fingerprints GALORE. But that just comes with the territory of the material.Overall: I would recommend these if you're looking for additional protection over tempered glass, or if you're just looking for a basic scratch protection for your screen. Also they send you a bunch of super adorable stickers so that's a major plus. I'm a sucker for stickers.

Good product, pay attention to the installation steps
You need to watch the on-line video carefully. The video is for a different phone, but the method works for every phone. A plastic guide fits into the phone’s charging receptacle to position the screen protector correctly. The installation video moves very quickly, and I had to watch it several times. It would be helpful if the package included written instructions as well. The problem is that a first-time user is unfamiliar with the product. More time should be spent explaining the most critical step - specifically, how to remove the two strippable pieces comprising the protector’s backing from the protector. After watching the video, I thought I had it down, but on my first attempt, the protector was ruined. This essential step involves lifting one end of the backing strip while simultaneously exerting pressure on the other. My mistake was not lifting the strip high enough before applying the pressure. However, having now seen how the strips work in real-time, my second attempt worked perfectly.Once installed, the protector has a good appearance, the touch sensitivity of the screen is excellent. A week later, a small bubble appeared at the screen’s edge but could be pressed away. Overall, the product seems very good.I was not happy wasting 1 protector and reported my installation experience to LK’s customer service. The product has a lifetime warranty and they stand by it. Without hesitation they sent me a replacement 3-pack. That's excellent service.
