This stopped all of the cracks from happening during the drying process.
Since I started putting a good squirt of GAC in my paints, along with the pouring medium, I have not had any further cracks in my art!

Paint additive for smoother paintings
This product is awesome! Makes your paints flow better and colors are more vibrant and dry prettier. Won’t paint without it.

possibly lightens the color of your paint.
I bought this product to add to home-made acrylic "paint-pouring" mixtures. It is supposed to help reduce the chances that your paint will "craze" or crack. Ideal paint-pouring mixtures don't change the color of your paint, they make it more fluid, but they don't reduce its opacity or break down its adhesion either (the way simply diluting the paint in water would). There are pre-made paint-pouring mixtures out there that I have tried (and personally I have not found the higher-priced Liquitex brand especially better than the cheaper Sergeant Arts brand) and I have experiemented with making my own, usually based on Floetrol with other components. I heard several youtube artists recommend adding just a small amount of GAC-800, and it is important that it is a SMALL amount, because otherwise the white gac-800 does seem to make the color of the acrylic paint lighter. Of course, some acrylic-additives (such as gel medium) are white to start and clear when they dry, so it's possible that the color gets darker again when it dries, but eve if that is true, the fact that it is lighter in color while you are working with it makes it harder to decide what other colors to use and harder to know what the end result will look like. Does it help with crazing though? Probably. I have been trying to use thinner layers of poured paint (which also helps reduce the likelihood of crazing) but it's hard to measure exactly how thick the paint layer is, and I also don't always keep track of exactly how much gac I have used in every mixture of paint, so it's hard for me to pinpoint any exact reason why a certain painting may or may not end up with some crazing. If you are experiencing problems with crazing in your acrylic paint-pours, this product is worth a try, but be aware that it might lighten some of your colors. I especially don't recommend combining it with black.

Addictive NOT a pouring medium!!!!
THIS IS NOT A POURING MEDIUM!!!!!It’s an additive to your pouring medium. It’s sole purpose is to help adhere the paint to your canvas and stop crazing / cracking which happens when the top of your poured paints dries faster than the under paint .
