Absolutely loved this product. Kept the bugs away while not smelling like a walking stick of deet. I wish they had bigger cans though. Can’t wait for the next order to come in.

This product is the best and most efficient I have found for repelling bugs even on the worst of days. It is a bit oily and takes a good rub to soak in. If you are like me and use this in the garden getting dirty then wear your grungy clothes. Good sunscreen protection as well. I recommend.

So what is pictured is actually not the aerosol version but I am posting the pic just to demonstrate my dedication! I am traveling soon and even though I could just take carry-ons for free, I am going to check one bag for a fee, JUST to ensure they don’t confiscate my aerosol SSS!! I need it to stay sane and safe in the Caribbean! Nothing else seems to work against sand flies! And when they bite, it itches to the bone.

I moved to the Savannah area almost two years ago. Everyone told me how lucky I was and what a beautiful area it is and how much I would love it. Little did I know at the time that all of those people harbored a secret loathing for me and a deep desire to see me suffer the slowest most horribly painful death imaginable. As I sit here at My daughter's soccer practice, triple coated in Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard, sealed on with Avon Skin So Soft Bath Oil Spray, doused with an extra layer of my own special homemade concoction of essential oils just to make it through a mere hour in this Dante's Inferno of sand gnat purgatory, I am moved to gratitude that it is "only" a "mild" gnat day, and not a "swarming-cesspool-of-bloodthirsty-mother-effers" kind of day where I'd need to reach into the trusty backback I keep beside me and light the incense AND the Thermacell Protection Zone I keep with me for such days :/...and then I get sentimental and kind of wish all those "friends" were here... so I could personally thank them... by punching them right square in their smirking little faces for not telling me about how miserable this place is and never to move here!!!! :( 😭😭😭But I digress. Thank you Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard for at least protecting the areas I can apply you from these vampiric pests from Hades itself. Unfortunately these minions of Satan are exceptional seekers of each and every centimeter that you have missed applying the spay and will even stoop to flying down your shirt and up your pant leg to take a bite, or twelve. Oh... and the scalp! Unless you want bug spray in the roots of your hair, don't think your scalp is safe. Even long hair like mine won't keep these sadistic succubus scourges from getting to your scalp! Those little A-holes will work their way right in there and start an open bar. Bloody Mary, anyone?P.S. Might I suggest an Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard Body Wash and Shampoo? You'd make a killing here in Savannah.

Living on the Georgia coast is a dual edged sword. On the one hand, it is beautiful and largely unsoiled. On the other hand, it is unspoiled because of the evil sand gnats, who come out to torture anyone foolhardy to try to enjoy the area when the weather is nice. This stuff works against them and works well. I put it on before gardening, could see the evil bugs flying around, but no bites. They still will find unsprayed places and hair though. This is pricy protection but works far better than the DEET based sprays. Doesn't smell as bad either.

Use while fishing , working in yard, anytime I’m outside

I love Avon Expedition. The unscented version smells like bug spray, but is not strong or unpleasant. If I were in a situation that required being as orderless as possible, then it would suffice better than most. It does keep the biting insects that I am exposed to off my skin. I live north of Atlanta and can say the biting insects in this area will leave you alone if you are sprayed with this. I put these bottles in my tackle box and truck for easy access, and love this stuff. The SPF protection works well – I feel that it is a good combination sun block/bug guard, but I will buy the scented next time, because the scented has a more pleasant smell rather than a slight odor.

I’m still debating this. The scent is strong. I’m not sure how to explain it. Not so much chemical, but different smell.
