Comparing the Skelox with the Hourglass is a no brainer. The only thing I dislike about the Skelox is it's not comfortable to sleep and have to be careful not to get your hair pulled otherwise if performs and does the job well in a short time with great results. As for the Hourglass, 1st the asking price is not worth it (is ridiculous), and it' really not shape like an "hourglass", 2nd it's hard/not flexible, 3rd the pins received are sold separately and are rough/not smooth nor sleek as it should be. And since all the hole in the rollers are not fully opened it make it difficult for the pins to go on in easily. It is said you can use the clips or the plastics pins but in actuality the rollers are not designed for them. So I am sticking with the Skelox.

I like these hourglass/tension rollers. Since my hair is short right now, I'll need this size and the smaller size I bought. However, I am looking to grow my hair longer so I'll be sure to purchase the larger rollers when necessary. I wouldn't hesitate. I wish, though that SKELOX would offer more substantial, stronger pins to keep the rollers tightly wound. The plastic pins don't do the job as well on first try. Perhaps there's a learning curve. Otherwise though, great product at a fair price. Thanks.

Good old hair rollers! Pins all there. Hold in the hair well with a pin supplied, just work a pin through the roller holes. When taking out rollers, don't unwind by dragging downwards, gently lift up away from scalp so hair doesn't become entangled, then unwind.

I bought these for my gran when we were in lockdown - what is it with older people who can’t go a week without doing something to their hair? She found these easy to use and it made her hair look like she had just been to the hairdressers and she was happy with it so if she’s happy then I’m happy!

Order arrived before time and well packaged. Great rollers perfect for my short hair. Like them so much I have ordered another set, plus one set a size larger, for when hair grows a little longer. Also they come with free pins. Only downside, you have to pay for postage and packing, which normally I don't use sites that charge for p & p. I have been looking for this type of hair roller in my local town to no avail. Would recommend. Thank you.

These rollers are very nice to put in your hair, they don't sell them in the shops now it's all Velcro, and I find they pull my hair out, so I was very pleased when I saw these. They grip the hair very well and my hair soon drys as there are a lot of gaps in the roller for the dryer to blow through.
