I have two pitbull type dogs, one large male and a smaller puppy. The puppy will actively just chew pieces off a Kong and spit them out as if it were made of styrofoam. Anything less than a Kong or a Nylabone doesn't stand a chance if they are left alone with it.This red spiky ball is LARGE. Just the right size for large dogs, and the hard, thick rubber has been pretty much impenetrable to even the little demon's razor sharp teeth. When the dogs put their full strength into biting down does the rubber slightly give, expelling the large inside volume of the balloon through the imperceptibly small hole...At this point a LOUD SCREECH comes from the HIDDEN WHISTLE that I didn't expect. Sure, I've had dog toys that made noise, but they are nothing compared to the sound that came from that ball. It was not only incredibly loud, but it was at a pitch that just bellows RED ALERT, causing every muscle in your body to spasm.... The final scream of something small and cute and fluffy being pushed through a chipper shredder...You get used to it, but damn, they really should have said something in the description...I'll try to remember to report back as to how long it takes for them to destroy these... (I got two of them.)*** ONE YEAR LATER ***It's been a year later, and the balls have survived. The dogs still love playing with them, and these have become the longest lasting dog toys that I have purchased to date. The screechy whistles were eventually damaged enough by the younger dog as she worked her way through puppyhood and stopped making noise within a couple months. Aside from that, they're fine.I just bought two more, not because the old ones are wearing, but just because I wanted to have more around for the dogs to play with.I also just purchased the train engine chew toy and the dogs subsequently tore it to shreds in a few hours.Oh, yeah... The fresh new balls really remind me how obnoxious that shriek noise the toy makes. Good news is that if they don't break the new whistles, you can always just drive a hot metal spike into them.

My dog loves it, even sleeps with it.

This is the first “toy” that I have give my GWP that he hasn’t destroyed in 30 minutes. He takes it everywhere. Even to bed. I have ordered 2 more!

I was looking for a ball that my aggressive chewer wouldn't eat in 2 days. This ball is great! She's a mini goldendoodle and loves her balls! She hasn't been able to destroy it and I've had it for 6 months. She can carry it in her mouth and roll it around. It's also great that it's big enough not to get lost under the couch like the tennis ball does. The downsides are that it's a little heavy to throw it for her to catch it because it can hurt her. Also, it squeaks, but she has to bite down really hard for it to squeak. Overall, a great ball for entertaining an aggressive chewer!

My dogs really like these balls. I have a GSD and a Pitty mix. Both of my pups are aggressive chewers and players.They are a good size for holding in their mouth and not a chance of them going down their throats.They have the bite down hard to make them squeak which I think they like.I don't not leave the balls out for them. I play fetch for about 20 minutes then let chew on them for another maybe 20. So far no splits, tears or cracks. Squeaker holding up well.I do not know how long they will hold up to constant chewing.I would recommend for supervised play only because of my lack of experience with leaving the toy with the dog unsupervised.

I bought this for my 1 year old German shepherd. She is a very aggressive chewer and this ball has stood the test of time with her being an aggressive chewer.She absolutely loves playing fetch with this ball.It is one of her favorite toys.It cleans up really easy and is a great value for the money.I also.love that it bounces!!

Hard ball and almost too big for my dogs mouth. The description listed it as for medium to large dogs and my girl is large. It also doesn’t squeak - mainly because the ball is Un-squeezable! But it should last forever!

One of my Rottweilers is a terror with toys . This type of ball with sound is her favorite and she doesn't demolish ! She squeaks them like crazy ,especially at people walking by ,and nicely plays fetch !!
