Awesome gift. No concerns

Got this for my brother and thought it was great, because I have one also. It’s practical uses are many. I clip into my slip on boots and don’t even know it’s there. It may not have the brightest flashlight but what do you expect from a single led? In a pinch it will come in handy for multiple uses. It screws easy and after figuring out where everything is it’s pretty good. I ordered one for my brother and the flashlight didn’t work. I immediately did an Amazon return and in 2 days the new one was delivered.

Works great and has a lot of features

I keep it in my car because it has a lot of uses.

What I like. Probably somewhat useful in emergency. But only if you carry it.What I don't like. 1. Too heavy to carry in shirt pocket.2. Unless the function you want is at either end then it is really clumsy to get to it.3. Whistle is totally useless. I makes a real wimpy sound. I doubt it could be heard at 10 ft away. Any attacker will laugh at you while he smashes your face. Rescuers won't hear the whistle.4. The light is fairly weak.5. If you leave the pen function open then you will get your hands and shirt inky. To open the pen you need to unscrew the pen function, re-screw the pieces so that you don't lose them. And then repeat because you don't want to dirty your hand and clothing and anything else the pen touches.6. I thought of giving this to my daughter in case of emergency. She said it is pretty heavy and useless because it will drop to the bottom of her case. By the time she gets it out it would be too late.7. I thought it might substitute for a kuboda stick for self defense because the glass break pointer looks like it could do the job. Nevertheless, unless it is already in hand it would be too late. Same for the glass breaker. If you keep it in the glove compartment then it would take too long to get to it.8. Same with the light function. The little button that turns it on is not in a good place. It is turned on accidentally too often. Yet it is had to get to when you really want it. Again, the self defense function is useless unless you already have it in hand.9. My friend carries something like this in his coat or jacket pocket. Not an option for me as it is really to heavy and awkward.

I feel embarrassed that I bought this. 1.Torch is nowhere near as powerful as advertised on the packaging. The strobe effect is sold as a defence against attackers, but this lighting wouldn't deter an epileptic. 2. The whistle simply doesn't work, you'd be louder just using your fingers. 3. The screwdriver is fine unless you want to unscrew in wich case the whole pen unscrews itself. 4. The bottle opener is advertised as having a shaft, it doesn't. You could open a bottle but probably cut yourself as it's so tiny. 5. The glass shatterer probably would work but you'd have to remove the end cap first. 6. The pen works but there's nowhere to put its cap. It doesn't fit on the end like a regular pen. The only thing tactical about this is the misleading claims on the packaging.

This tactical pen gaget is fun.Of course, it doesn’t have the best flashlight, but good in a pinch.I usually keep mine in the car for emergencies. It has the sharp point to break windows in an emergency and many other uses with all the gadgets built into this.I have also taken it camping and put it in my tackle box too.

This tactical pen is with so many functions and look very smart to have one. Especially the length is really good for self defence

What more could you need from a pen? My Tac Pen keeps me safe in bad situations and is always there when I need it. The flashlight shines bright and the pen writes black.

Bought for someone, seeing it in person feels like they got caught up trying to do too many things instead of focusing on doing a few things extremely well. Some functions just kind of seem unnecessary. Like you forget what the thing can do because there is so much that it can do.I'd rather have a LINE of pens where each pen has a special thing or two to it. So you can keep pens for specific reasons in specific places.
