WBSEos Stainless Steel Straws Drinking Straw with Cleaning Brush

Just got my straws... A day late because UPS decided to take an extra snow day, but not the fault of the merchant. Package was easy to open. No country of origin, so I assume they were made in China. Did a magnet test, and they appear to be made of good quality stainless steel. One of them has a slight dent above the bend (package didn't appear to have damage, so I assume it happened before or during packaging). I'm using that one now, drinking a rather thick smoothie, and it works beautifully, even with the dent. I assume over time, I will create my own personalized dents, so I'm not too concerned about it. :) The straws are long enough to use, even with an extra tall "pint" style glass. They are dishwasher safe, but I don't trust our dishwasher to clean them properly. The brush that is included could have been a couple of inches longer so I could clean the straws from one end, but it's just a bit of extra effort to flip them around to finish the job from the other end. It's flexible enough to go past the bend in the straw, which makes cleaning them almost effortless. I'm a bit leery of stainless steel used with food and prefer glass, but if you have kids or are accident prone, these are the way to go! I was excited to try stainless steel straws. What a great idea! I use straws almost daily. Perhaps, I am just a big kid! but there is something I like about drinking beverages through straws, especially carbonated drinks. I also like to think it protects my teeth from staining. Mainly, I like to drink fresh lemon juice water in the morning and these are perfect for that.The packet comes with 4 straws and a handy little cleaning brush. It does say that the straws are dishwasher safe, but I personally would prefer to hand wash these with the brush provided. I don't like the idea of any detergent getting stuck inside the straws. In the long run, these will prove to be eco friendly and save me money by allowing me to stop buying packets and packets of the plastic disposable kinds of straws. I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased opinion.

The straws arrived today! I have a toddler who is working on her 2 year old molars so she chews on everything! She's chewed on and broken the plastic straws that come with most tumbler cups and makes it sharp and dangerous for her to use. So a friend suggested we try stainless steel straws, I was skeptical at first because of the price but they are well worth it! Good sized, and good quality. They'll last us a long time. Can easily wash using the cleaning brush or toss them in the dishwasher. Good size for kids or adults.
