I love this ring light for the different colors and the brightness settings. I don't like the fact that my husband got one too and the remotes work for both ring lights at the same time. So if I turn on my ring light or change the settings so will his. I also have a hard time with the adjustment knob around the top that holds the ring light in place. The ring light is held in place by a ball that the knob is tightened around. If it's not tight enough the ring light itself will move on its own.

Only problem I have with mine is the clamps arent sturdy enough to hold a phone up and the ring light up.

This is an excellent piece of kit for the price. Very sturdy tripod and everything mounts up snug and tight. Hadn't realized there were two options for holding a phone in the design, the second one clipping lower on the pole allowing you to raise the ring light up enough that you don't get the light donut reflected in your eyes as obviously. Really slick design and quite versatile. Remote is a little on the cheap side, but functions just fine. Another nice bonus was the Bluetooth remote shutter release that was super easy to sync with my Android phone. Had the whole thing set up and tested in about 5 minutes without any issues.

I use this on my desk for streaming and video calls, works well as a primary light source. Not sure what the face recognition is about though.

Unfortunately this is not a durable light. I used this one with great care because I bought a cheaper one earlier in 2021 that broke due to lack of care, so I made sure to handle this one very carefully. Unfortunately it will no longer turn on even though there is no damage to the wires. It worked great when it worked, but as of Feb 2022, it stopped working. Would be happier if there was a year warranty on these!
