I am relatively new to machine embroidery. After trying out several different types and brands of stabilizers, I have decided this is the best one for me. I like the adhesion, it kept everything in place in my hoop, and yet it was easy to remove and clean up the back of my pieces when I was done. The stabilizer is easy to hoop and a good thickness that doesn't tear up in the machine. I use it mainly for napkins, dish towels, cocktail napkins etc. I have purchased this product twice so far and will probably continue to use it.

I got this to hold down my velvet for embroidering. But so far I have used it to hold down my rope bowl to embroider on it. It did a perfect job of securing it. I had previously hand basted. This is so much easier. I'm hoping if it can hold a rope bowl base securely, than a piece of velvet will be simple. The paper is also easy to pull off from around the embroidered design. Shipping was fast. I will purchase this in the future.

Sometimes the item I am embroidering on is too small to put in a frame. A friend recommended this product and I love it. I lock the item into my frame, remove the paper on top, and attach the item directly to the glued backing then go to town. I am making 12 of these small golf towels for an October golf tourney benefiting a local Hospice. FYI, the towels were donated to me by a friend who received them via Amazon’s Vine Program. This adhesive stabilizer is amazing! I just received delivery today & immediately put it to work & I’m very happy.I have arthritic hands & wrists so hooping fabric, even thin fabric, is always a challenge. With this adhesive stabilizer I don’t need to hoop anything & it adheres to the fabric well, helping keep it in place.On my first project, the needle started to get sticky but I dabbed it gently with an alcohol soaked qtip & it easily wiped clean. I finished embroidering without any other issues.Will certainly buy again.

Before using this brand, I had tried TWO others. The first one was Sulky’s. A good product, but rolls were only 6 yards long and they were expensive. The other brand was a similar roll to this one, but it was a whole different experience. It was a DISASTER. I wrote a review about it & returned the product. It was a terrible experience !This product on the other hand is excellent. And I prefer it to Sulky’s for adherence of garments- Sulky’s glue has “weak spots”, and it is also thicker, giving more support to the garment during embroidering. At first, I missed Sulky’s grid, but not anymore. In fact I find the absence of a paper grid to be an advantage because I don’t them up as I put the paper in the hoop…All I have to do is unroll the roll to the size I need and fit it in. Once in there, I place the plastic measuring grid that came with the hoop inside the hoop and quickly mark the 5 dots (center, top, bottom, right, left) and draw the middle cross, then draw 2 straight lines. I then reproduce those 2 lines on the back of the hoop, just as I did with Sulky’s- because when the front layer is removed the grid is gone….It is much quicker than lining up with the printed grid before hoopingand I prefer the thickness and the quality of adherence of this self adhesive stabilizer.I have now used several of these rolls and won’t buy any other kind unless I have to.This is a good product. I sincerely hope the quality will be maintained and that it is here to stay.

so much easier to use, I embroidered a lge shower curtain. It was wonderful and easy with this stabilizer, cut my hooping time by alot. I will use this from now on.
