A great change from the sport band!
THE GOOD: The band looks great, and the adapter is a perfect match to the space grey casing of my watch. The adapter slides in smoothly and locks exactly as expected, and everything seems well constructed.THE BAD: It's thick and stiff, and will take some "wearing in" before it's as comfortable as the band that came with the watch. The color is a bit different from the picture (lighter tan).Overall, I'm really pleased with the purchase, and it gives my Apple Watch a very different look from the original sport band!

SCAM! BAD PRODUCT NOT RETURNABLE!! NOT red, NOT "easy-slide", NOT "polished silver elegant adaptor", NOT "suede", very thick and
NOTE: I JUST FOUND OUT I CANNOT RETURN THIS! IT IS A SCAM AND A POOR PRODUCT, NOT ANYTHING LIKE IT IS PICTURED OR DESCRIBED, AND DOES NOT FIT INTO THE WATCH PROPERLY!!Received this today. First of all, it is NOT RED, but more like a deep maroon almost brown--nothing like the photo. Second, the metal adapters that slide into the watch are not "shiny silver" and don't match the shiny stainless surface of my watch. The edges are more of a raw finish (they claim stainless, but don't match the stainless Watch casing), and when observed under magnification, look totally unfinished, and certainly not shiny. One end was very difficult to slide in, the other slid in easily. (I actually scratched the stainless casing on my watch trying to put the more difficult side in). Since I doubt Apple made the two tunnels different sizes, I figure this must not be exactly the same on both adapters. I even tried switching the band to the other side, and the same adapter was very difficult to push into the other side, as well.It appears well-made, but the leather is thicker and stiffer than I expected, and more so than Apple leather bands.Because it is so stiff, it is difficult to figure out how tightly to buckle it, but it does seem to fit my small wrist on my 38mm Apple Watch well. On a small wrist, the double strap stays are bulky and difficult to deal with--you have to slide them far out of the way to buckle the strap, then slide them back over the tail end of the strap. Also, it is NOT a "suede finish"; rather it is just a non-shiny matte leather finish. If it did not say "genuine leather" inside, I would have doubted it was leather. As much as I wanted the alternative of a leather strap (rather than just the sport band), this may not be the best choice...for me, at least. I really wanted a RED strap, which is what I ordered. And I really didn't want the point of the strap to come all the way around to the side of the watch when fastened. I wanted the stainless adapter to match, and actually be polished, and easy to slide in on BOTH sides. Note: the adapter hasp that goes through the leather band IS polished, and DOES seem to match. But the part that slides in flush with the watch casing, is raw, unfinished, and does NOT match. For $80, I think it should be better.

If you're looking for a leather watch band for your Apple Watch, look no more!
Monowear included a handwritten note with my package asking for feedback, so here it is!Product was represented very well on the Amazon page. I loved that the hardware matches my matte space grey watch perfectly - that was important to me. Having a band made of genuine leather really "classes up" the watch.Monowear provides a well-made, great looking, reasonably-priced band for your Apple Watch. If you're looking for a leather band for your Apple Watch, look no more!

Garbage, but cheap.
You really get what you pay for here. The strap doesn't look like real leather at all, it sort of looks like brown rubber. It also creases immediately at the point of contact with the latch. The crease is super noticeable. I've only had it for about a week or so but can't see it lasting very long. Aside from how cheap it looks and feels, the design is also pretty clumsy. The loops that catch the excess strap move about too freely and the strap often disengages from them. Not like the strap is going to fall off or anything, it's just dumb and annoying. Wish I had just saved up to buy the one from Bexar, but I figured I'd take a chance on this one as it was 1/9 the cost of the nicer strap at the time of purchase ($14 vs. $130). Now I just feel like I'm $14 further away from buying the Bexar.

Overall, it's a nice band with good value. Be aware that the clasp may not match the adapters. Otherwise a 5 star.
When you compare the price of these bands to the price of a genuine Apple band, there is no question of the value. I have been wearing this band for the last week and, overall, I am happy with it. My only qualms are that the clasp I received does not match the space grey adapters and is, instead, a shiny chrome. Also, the coloring of the leather band is not as rich as what is pictured. I'm hoping that with wear and age the band color will get richer. The space grey adapters do look good against a space black stainless watch. I'll attach pictures and hopefully that will help you in making an informed decision. If it weren't for the clasp not matching I would give this five stars.
