Buybits Twist & Lock Car Vehicle Car Suction Phone Mount for Samsung Galaxy Note (sku 13712-note)

Did quite a lot of research before choosing this phone mount, as many of them looked flimsy or huge. This sticks well to the dashboard on its sticky pad, and is very neat. The hold is firm, and it does the job well. Time will tell how well it lasts!

I bought this recently hoping to be able to use it for my Galaxy Note. I read the description and noted that it did say that it would not fit the phone unless the phone was not in a case of any sort.Well, if by fitting it means that the expandable arm which holds the phone in place is stretched to its absolute limit and that the phone has to be forced to fit, then it meets that description. However, this is simply a product designed for other smart phones which not of the dimensions of the Galaxy Note.On the third time of using it, the extendable arm on the mount snapped off, and I am not hamfisted.If you have a smaller smartphone, then this mount is really good, but if you want it for your Galaxy Note, forget it. Try the "My Trendy Phone" website instead.

This mount is not specifically for the Galaxy Note - it will fit any phone, except perhaps the very narrowest ones. All smartphones will certainly fit nicely into it. The suction pad on it is a great design, and fastens very securely to either the windscreen, or the included stick-on pad for your dashboard. My dashboard is slightly curved all over, and I didn't think it would work, but the adhesive pad sticks very firmly, and the suction pad clamps down on it very well. It's a little tricky to get the mount off the windscreen or pad, but that's not a bad quality in one of these! I'm not sure how easy it will be to remove the adhesive pad from the dashboard - it's on there fairly permanently! If you don't want to risk damaging the dash, just stick it to the windscreen and don't use the pad.There is one slight issue - like most smartphone owners, I have my phone in a case. It's a soft gel case, so adds a couple of millimetres to the width of the phone. With the Samsung Galaxy Note, this makes it really too wide for the clamp's jaws, which are spring-loaded. It does go in, but it's a very tight fit and bends the clamp's arms to the point I'm concerned they'll snap. However, without the case on the phone, it fits perfectly and doesn't move at all. Just make sure you use a case you can easily take on and off!Highly recommended.

This phone holder is not as model specific as you might think. I am using it very successfully with the HTC Desire HD. Good quality and simple design, fits perfectly where I need it and works everytime. Only niggle is sometimes I catch the volume button when putting it in and taking it out, but that could be my phone model or the way I do it.

The phone mount for the Note is basic in design, allowing a window or dashboard mount (with included base that sticks to dashboard). The suction cup is strong and activated by a swivel base that is easy to use.The pincer grip is exceptionally tight and just fits with a clip on base - unlikely that you'll be able to do this with the base already mounted, but overall its easy to use.For the price, this is a must buy. Marked down for the tightness of the grip, but the phone has never fallen out so I guess it works as intended

A very decent product, nice and compact and easy to store in the glove box. It holds my phone (galaxy ace) pretty well but there is some shaking even at low speeds. Bought this product with my upcoming upgrade to the galaxy note in mind but must admit I have some concerns with the product holding a heavier phone. Overall it does what I need it to do and I have found it very useful.

Fits quick and so far hasn't fallen off. My Galaxy Note is quite big and it does feel that it's at the limit of it's jaw size
