Thick indulgent foam with barrista style soya milk
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Wow wow wow. I thought this was a gimmick but I was wrong. It works amazingly well... Anyway, for the comments saying that it doesn’t heat up much, it’s not supposed to, it’s not a kettle, it’s a heater. Oh and personally I only use the whisking attachment regardless of whether I’m heating or frothing. . To make my drink hotter and frothier I use the thermostatically controlled heat setting first then repeat the hot froth cycle a few times. If you intend pouring it out and making more drinks, I’d suggest quickly washing it out first with the cute little sponge that comes with it otherwise a cooked skin forms on the heating base that can burn and stick, making it harder to clean.I’ve only used it with non dairy soya milks. The thinner varieties that are very low fat and very low carb ( no sugars) will froth a little but hardly enough to justify having an electrical frother like this, it’s just not worth it for the meagre results..... In my video review, I used Alpro barrista soya milk - the one from supermarkets, that’s a little thicker and has a little extra fat added.Pay attention to the markings for frothing, I overdid it and it spilled out down the sides of the machine making a mess.I’m really surprised by quite how thick the froth was, so luxurious and indulgent, though I did repeat the hot froth cycle a few times.I’ve been using this a while now, I like to pour half of the frothed mixture into a cup and heat in the microwave for 10 seconds watching carefully otherwise the froth expands from the heat and spills over, then I stir in the remaining froth. Perfect.

don't expect boiling hot drinks
First and foremost, the temperature the unit is set to is immediate drinking temperature. If you are one of those with a penchant for near boiling temps then this is not for you.I've been using this several times a day for a few weeks now and despite trying to create the sort of problems other reviews have mentioned I have failed to. The closest I managed to get milk burnt on was to use it several times without more than a quick rinse in between. The non stick coating is very non stick and cleans out with a sponge. They even provide one on a stick but I use the sponge side of my scourer and a running tap. Obviously you cannot submerge it .The amounts of milk for foam or just heated are sufficient for the average sized mug as you are likely to have put an espresso shot or two in the mug first. It comes with two fittings for the spinning spindle inside the pot. The one with the spring around it is for foam/froth and minimal milk. Exceed the marked maximum at your peril. I tried it just over the line and had foam coming out of the spout. The second fitting is found attached to the lid and takes a decent pull to get it off the first time. This 'blade' type helps keep the larger volume of milk moving to heat with maximum efficiency and to prevent any risk of burning. The lid has a small partial cut out which, if set over the spout, lets you pour with the lid on. The top of the handle has the controls. It bleeps once when the power is turned on and all three cup icons flash briefly but will sit in standby. Press once for frothing and the first icon will flash to show it has been selected. Two presses gets the milk heating setting with the middle cup flashing, and three presses for cold frothing with the right hand cup flashing. (I haven't tried this setting yet it being winter)The foam you get with milk (I use semi skimmed Cravendale) is thick and velvety, as good as any I've had served by a barista and there's plenty of it. But bear in mind foam, by its nature, will be warm not hot.All in all I'm very happy with this at the price to produce my favourite lattes and cappuchinos. It has made an excellent addition to my aero press, so much so that I never make instant any more. With a jar of Lavazza decaff in the fridge I can have ground coffee all day long and not get hyper.

Fabulous! Why didn't I get one sooner!!
My friend suggested I buy a Hotel Chocolat Velvetter, but when I saw the price I thought "I can live without foamy milk chocolate"... then I saw the Nobebird, the reviews were great, and I thought, it's not extortionate - I can buy it with that gift card I got for my birthday.... Never looked back!! Now I'm having lattes, chai lattes, hot chocolate, daily - I'm impressed, and my friends are impressed. Simply rinse with warm water after use and it's good to go again!! I use barista oat milk in mine as I'm vegan - this is absolutely fabulous - saves me a fortune on going out (if we could go out that is!!) A lockdown life saver!!

Bad build quality- there is something wrong with this product...
Stopped working after 12 days... and looks like this is a recurring problem (I ordered it despite seeing this mentioned by someone else) but looks like this is a quality issue otherwise it wouldn't be happening again and again. Also it isn't a result of reckless use (I'm extremely careful and OCD when it comes to cleaning and keeping things in perfect condition). I wouldn't purchase this again nor recommend it when there are plenty of others without this issue.

Good frother!
Good little milk frother! Wanted one for a long time but didnt want to spend a fortune. Didnt particularly care about its aesthetics as it lives in the cupboard! It does what its supposed to, warms to a good temp and does it quickly too. Fairly quiet. 2 attachments, whisk & paddle. I tend to only use the paddle and on 'hot froth' mode it gives hot milk & a good creamy froth. I like the cold setting too, so i can make chilled coffees and chocolate shakes. I put the powder in with the milk and it mixes well. Only negative is that it doesnt pour terribly well. It does dribble so i tend to have a cloth handy when using and just wipe up, its no biggie really, just a minor annoyance. Still a good bit of kit for a decent price.

Great
Got ours today, in black, looks lovely. Bought this because we needed the 160ml capacity for foam as this will make 2 cups of Cappuccino. (Had a Vava, capacity was only 115ml)Foams brilliantly, in my opinion better and thicker than the Vava and certainly quicker.Tip: Far better if you use full fat milk, thick foam, once you try anything different you will loose quality.I am delighted to recommend.
