My client's laptop came with a 1366x768 panel that began displaying horizontal lines across the screen. This new screen was a full HD 1080p replacement and while not officially supported for their laptop my research concluded it should work just fine assuming the panel side was a 30-pin non-touch connector.I can confirm everything works perfectly and new screen a nice looking picture, not the brightest but perfectly acceptable for office use.I have my own tools so I didn't need the included kit however it's nice to have for those taking this project on themselves.

I use older 6th gen i5 laptops for travel and remote desktop. The problem with older laptops is that they generally have lower resolution stock screens. This 1080p screen was a great drop-in replacement and upgrade. While 1080p isn't the highest resolution possible, it makes travel a whole lot easier, especially when I need to remote desktop to the more powerful CPU. 1080p is just a more "natural" resolution than the original stock screen.

I compared with the original screen side by side and although it works, not as good as the original. Texts are softer and not as clear. Doesn't get as bright. Color not as vivid and seems washed out. And for some reason it gives me a slight headache after viewing for some time while the original does not.

Easy to install, looks great. Comes with all tools necessary.
