I mined crystals, cleaned and sorted crystals, then bought this wire to wire wrap jewelry. The reviews and price was good, so I gave it a shot. The wire is not as shiny as other wire, like Artistic wire bought on Amazon, and the plating is super thin! So, not shiny and wears off in the course of wrapping.Not suggested for real jewelry. Not a time to settle.

Well, while tarnish resistant is a good thing, it's not for me as I like to patina my jewelry...so I tried and it didn't work well. But, that's a good thing for those of you who want tarnish resistant copper wire! The plastic spool wasn't all that great, as I needed to thread the wire through the spool...hard to explain, but ya know what I mean....which is why I didn't give it 5 stars.

I thought I was getting solid copper wire I could use in soldering applications- not so! It is solid copper wire, BUT it has a coating of some kind that prevents easy soldering. I was finally able to work with it after cleaning it with coarse steel wool. The job that should have taken 20 minutes took over an hour.

Used this wire for stems for crochet flowers. It was easy to bend, to cut, and still sturdy enough to use as stem.

I use this copper wire for custom jewelry craft, just what I needed.

very easy to work with and i enjoy the color. i'd buy it again without reservation. wish i could find more color choices. other brands that i bought as 28 gauge as well were stiffer to work with and even look thicker. i prefer this kind. i do not know how well it will hold up over time, etc. but i'm very pleased with it at this point.

Perfect for crafting at a great price.
