QUALITY CONSTRUCTION - BEAUTIFUL GRAPHICSThis is an outstanding humidor, rivalling similar that are far more expensive. The inner construction makes for an incredibly perfect seal - opening and closing the lid feels like opening an airtight vault door - I actually hear a swoosh and feel the suction release as the lid door opens.The graphics on this Old Glory humidor are fantastic - simply gorgeous. I was, however, slightly disappointed to find a small shallow dent in the upper far left top corner, but decided against an exchange, as I believe it would be nearly impossible to get a humidor of this size delivered without a flaw of some sort, especially one with a perfect seal, excellent inner wood construction, perfectly working key, etc. The Humidor looks incredible on a wooden bookcase shelf of any shade.SEASONING and HUMIDIFICATIONI wiped the entire interior with a Humi-Care wipe, followed by two-weeks of seasoning with about four Boveda size #60, 85% humidifier packs. (I also mounted the Boveda 320 plates and Boveda side-by-side holder plates to the wood surfaces before seasoning - see below.)I removed the hydrometer and humidifier wood frames from the inside of the lid in order to mount the Boveda 320 plate there. Easily done with a butter knife or scraper to gently lift the tacked frames off the lid. The humidifier that comes with this box is utter garbarge - it utilizes the same type of foam that you find in floral arrangements. Mount the Boveda, either the 320 plate or the Boveda side-by-side dual cedar holder to the center of the lid. (Many folks complain about magnetic or metal plate adhesive failing in humidor applications - if one is having difficulty with the adhesive of plates to the wood, just use Gorilla Glue for wood!) I keep a 320 mounted to the inside of the upper lid, and a Boveda side-by-side cedar wood holder mounted to the bottom of the removable tray. I mounted an horizontal digital hygrometer (Cigar Oasis Caliber IV Digital) on the lid directly above the 320 assembly. I also use a small digital hygrometer (one of the small rectangular ones that are sold here in various numbers of packs) in the lower box area and humidity is consistent: loaded with about 75 cigars, humidity remains constant at about 70-72%.

Good looking product for stepping up to medium capacity humidor. Seasoned up nicely. Swapped out stock parts for a few dollars of better quality essentials. Nice volume with built in vented shelf. Attractive piece for being on display. Construction is tight. All exteriors are applied pattern - not painted or crafted. Price is slightly less than retail in most cigar stores, so nice little saving.

I would highly recommend this humidor for anyone just starting out, or an avid smoker. It comes with a nice glass Hygrometer, Spanish cedar inside, lock & key, and a beautiful design of the USA flag. Very impressive humidor.

Looks just like the photo, great skeleton key and lock. The humidity meter is supposed to stick to the inside of the lid along with a plastic piece you moisturize to create the humidity. Neither piece sticks to the wood with the adhesive tape provided. The humidity device also would not bring it up to proper humidity, have to use Boveda packs. The meter just sits on the rack next to the cigars. :(

The Good: I purchased this humidor about ten days ago. I’m also new to the cigar culture but was very surprised at how easy it was to season this humidor. The seasoning process took less than 24 hours and it kept the humidity in range.Bad: The magnetic humidifier wouldn’t stick to the lid. Despite numerous attempts at troubleshooting, the humidifier wouldn’t stick so I just made a section for it on the bottom shelf.

It took less than one 325 gram Boveda to season it and with the same box it's still holding at 69% humidity. The Boveda is all but empty so it's not doing as well as the flag humidor. But it is holding nicely since after all, it has been a few months. It looks awesome and I have been playing with cigars with the top open,.moving them to and from different humidor (I have six).

Very good construction and graphics and more importantly seals tight when hydrated/conditioned. Only reason I did not give it a 5, was that for a large humidor, I kinda expected side handles
