KOHLERK-2660-1-7 Vox Rectangle Vessel Above-Counter Bathroom Sink with Single Faucet Hole, Black Black

I almost did not buy this sink because of the negative comments about specs. in the finish, and especially the cheap plastic strainer on the overflow entry (can't see in photo). But I took a chance, and this is my response:1. The finish is one of the nicest I have seen on a plumbing fixture. No blemish whatsoever. The rear of the lav (part above counter) is fully finished and polished, so no unfinished nasties to see in your mirror. Maybe mine is the exception, but it is truly beautiful.2. Yes, the "chrome" plastic strainer is ridiculous. But not as ridiculous as someone that would not pluck it out (it damn near wants to fall out anyway), throw it away, and enjoy the 3 nicely formed little drain holes it was covering that are fully finished and polished. They look pretty much like the drain holes I have always seen in china lavatories...no drama, no cheapness. They look like they were supposed to be exposed. Note to Kohler, throw them all away and avoid any complaints!Was a near miss for me. I almost didn't buy this wonderful fixture because of the comments of a few really unimaginative folks.As an aside, the thing came in a box the size of a small refrigerator. Was a box within a box with 4"- 6" plastic-wrapped solid foam padding all around it. Could have fallen off the back of the truck and it would not have been damaged. Way to go Amazon!

hello, we needed a new sink to replace our older modern looking above the counter sink. the old one had a modern design that looked like a trough. but, it did not drain very well. the drain hole was smaller than normal, but the design was outstanding. waiting for the water to drain out was painful. so, this kohler vox was bought to replace the older poor draining sink. did it fit right in place of the older sink? not quite. a larger hole in the counter was necessary since this kohler sink had a larger drain breather hole(s) near the front edge of the sink. but, once the cut was made, it dropped in like it was made for our counter. all faucets and below counter pipes were easily fitted. kohler is a top notch brand name and this sink follows that quite well. does it drain faster? you bet...a short amount of water due to the shortage goes down many times faster than our old sink. mission accomplished. great product and delivery. no chips, scratches or cracks...just delivered a quality product...

We just finished a remodel and every morning I am so happy we decided on this sink. It's large, deep enough too as we have had a vessel sink previously where the bottom of the sink was almost flat and was so frustrating to rinse it down. We did a Mid Century Modern design and it works well. Couldn't be happier.

The first one that arrived was in great condition, looks great, it was shipped in two boxes. The one that arrived later was shipped in the original box. As the UPS driver brought the box it sounded like everything was broken inside. Such a shame, now I’ll just install one in the master bathroom.

It is a beautiful vitreous china sink . I installed 2 in a master bath with black faucets. Make sure to install the faucets before installing the sink. It is hard to get a perspective of its size from the measurements. Glad I had enough counter space. One of the 2 sinks was not flat. It wobbled about 1/4 inch side to side. Yes I checked the quartz countertop with a level to be sure that was not the problem. . Kohler was quick to replace it. The 2nd did wobble too. Kohler said they would replace it again, but made a suggestion I use a heavy grit sandpaper with dish soap and sand the high spots down. Great idea; 20 minutes later (plus another trip to Home Depot) it was flat. Installation is not hard, but the sink is heavy. Use copious amounts of silicone, and use heavy weights to hold it in place for 24 hours. Then go back to Home Depot to get new drain trap kit.

I really like the sink - I have one already in my guest bathroom - I am just astonished that the Kohler store didn’t take the time to pack them properly and both sinks arrived smashed. There was no packing around the vessel either time. They were free floating in the box. Poor show, kohler store.

Sink looks beautiful on the counter and is very functional. I like that it has a sloped bottom unlike some other vessel sinks that have flatter bottoms and do not drain well.One thing to keep in mind if you are DIY installing and replacing an existing sink is the position of the drain and extra parts you may need. It is much closer to the front of the sink than in the drop-in sink I replaced, and it is of course higher. I therefore needed two tubular extensions for the trap: one for the sink tailpiece, which was expected, and another for the p-trap arm, which was not expected and resulted in an extra trip to the hardware store. It was also a pain connecting the pop-up drain to the faucet lift arm, but I got away with bending the lift hardware rather than purchasing an extension.

we wanted a vessel type sink but since our vanity was normal height, this one fit the bill perfectly. It is unique in that 1/2 of the sink is under the countertop. the angles are really good. It doesn't splash water and it drains well. the only think i would say is that it has a cheesey plastic kohler drain cover in the front that covers the overflow holes. It is barely held in place and probably wont last a few months. We put the sink on white composite granite, but on if we did it again, we would probably pick a contrasting color since it is a pretty sink.

We bought this sink as a repack or "open box". It was absolutely pristine, had obviously never been used, was carefully packaged, and included the template for the cutout. We are very pleased.

Beautiful sink. I bouhht 2 to update my bathroom. They shine and are deeper than the ones in the building supply stores. Very happy.

Bathroom sink easy to install. The depth of the sink is more than I thought from the description, but fit fine. My unit had a minor dent in it, but fortunately was in a spot you wouldn’t see. Don’t forget to buy caulking with this!
