I liked the idea of these clips - I was looking for something to hold my thick hair in a bun that wasn't a claw clip or a hair tie. Unfortunately, these particular clips don't work very well. It's like someone took a design for a smaller clip and just made the proportions larger, including the teeth which are large pieces of plastic. It won't slide into my hair easily. Each time I put it in, I could feel hair breaking. Also, that weird little point at the end means that it won't tuck neatly into a bun.

Ended up having to return these as they were actually too big! I needed a size smaller for what I was using them for. They are very good quality, and I will purchase again in a smaller size.

Purchased first two at a local craft fair at Christmas for more money. Loved it when I found two for much less on-line. I use mine all the time. They are great for long hair. My go to hair clip.

Decent hair clip for medium length hair. As my hair is very long and full it doesn't hold more than a single twist of hair and I needed it to hold a min of twice around to get the bulk of it held back.

For thick hair.

These work perfect for my long hair, don't think it would work on super thick long hair.
