I added bean bag filler purchased from Walmart and sprayed Febreeze to get the funky smell out. The covers look great and will definitely buy more covers as needed. Very pleased with the quality and my modern mid century look.

I recently purchased this pouf, and overall, I'm pretty pleased with its appearance and functionality. I ordered three different styles and this one fits my interior the best. It is also surprisingly spacious, accommodating a significant amount of stuff.The ample storage space inside the pouf is a definite plus. I can easily stash away guest blankets, pillows, and so much more, keeping my space clutter-free and organized.BUT... there's one significant drawback: the pungent odor (some other reviewers mentioned it as well. I wanted to keep it - so I washed it immediately and left it on the balcony to air it out. It helped to some extent, but I still can smell it, so the odor will remain noticeable longer than expected. Using air fresheners inside might help, though.Despite the unpleasant smell, the pouf serves its purpose well and adds a touch of elegance to my room. If the odor issue could be addressed or minimized, this pouf would be absolutely perfect.I would recommend this pouf to others who prioritize style and storage. Just be aware of the potential smell concern and consider taking appropriate measures to alleviate it.

We got this as a storage solution for bulky winter clothes and it definitely holds them all! My kids love sitting on it and when it looks a little floppy we give this pouf a kick to get it back in shape. Works every time! The fabric is thick and the stitching is strong enough to withstand my children jumping on it. And fur vacuums right off of it. This pouf is a win for our tiny, full house!

The size is very good, the fabric is good, the texture & colours are great. But both arrived stinking of mold. They arrived separately and both have a terrible stench of mold.

We just redecorated our family room and I carefully chose this pouf to fit the colors and style, and to give us extra seating, foot rest, etc. I really loved the look of it. When it arrived, it has a very strong chemical odor, so we put it on the back porch for a couple of days to air out. Didn't help. So I washed it in cool water with scented detergent, and it came out smelling of rotten fish! I washed it again, this time in very hot water with extra scented detergent, and the smell got worse! Then I soaked it for hours in hot water with 2 boxes of baking soda. The rotten fish smell went away, but now it just has a very strong smell of mold and must. And while it was soaking in the hot water in my tub, some metallic bits came out rusty and left rusty stains on the pouf and in my tub! The tub cleaned up okay but not the pouf. It's now been sitting outside for 2 days hoping the sun and fresh air will help.

Had to wash it about 5 times to no longer have a bad smell on the fabric. Otherwise, like it.

I have a tiny living room so I got rid of my old sectional and got a regular sofa instead. I still wanted something to put my feet up on so I purchased this. It takes a lot to completely fill it up. I've put 2 queen blankets, 4 sheets, and many throw blankets and pillows to fill it up. If you want it to be sturdy enough to sit on you have to stuff it to the point where its difficult to zip it closed. It is a bit heavy with all the stuff inside but at least it's saving me space since all the stuff that's inside was just sitting in my storage previously. The material feels like canvas and feels durable. I love the print on it and it goes well with my boho decor. Overall I really like this pouf and I would recommend it

This is a substantial piece that is great seasonal storage of blankets or coats....it's amazing what it holds. It looks great and adds to any room decor. Very pleased with this item.
