Hack The Yudu Screen Liquid Emulsion Kit

It came very fast. I mixed it easily and used it after waiting the 2 hours after mixing. My screens came out perfect. I use a lot less tape now than with the yudu sheets. This applies faster, more consistent without as many pinholes, I was getting with the sheets. After about my 3rd screen I was much better at applying it to the screen. I am Loving this product. Also love the gallon of emulation remover I made with the concentrate. I've made 5 screens in the past 2 days. Cheap and easy. I will be buying this again for sure.

This Hack the Yudu Screen Liquid Emulsion Kit worked great the first time I tried it. I bought the Yudu machine to print on our school's basketball jerseys to save parents some money. The two emulsion sheets that came with the Yudu was worthless! And after reading all the different posts about these emulsion sheets, I bought this kit at the same time I bought the Yudu, and I'm glad I did! I followed their directions step by step since I am a newbie screen printer, and the end result after my first try...perfect image on the screen! However, I did ruin several of the jerseys...but not because of this kit - it was because of the Yudu paint I decided to buy. My bad...I should have bought the Speedball Screen Printing Ink first! Don't use the Yudu inks...don't listen to what the Yudu company says about using only their inks on their screens...BS! My screens come out clean each time I remove the emulsion (with the bottle provided with the Hack the Yudu Screen) and the ink does no harm to the screen. Now on to the next project of printing on hoodies for our karate dojo!

DIdn't realize the solution had to be used within 3-4 months after mixed. Wish it came in smaller packs that could be mixed separately. The emulsion went on easily enough... I had a harder time rinsing the screen after burning the image ...it did not come off easily like on the videos... not sure what I was doing wrong. I ended up redoing the screens three times before getting it to come out right. Fortunately I had enough emulsion. Now all I have to do is come up with more designs to use the rest of the stuff!

First off, the seller is amazing. Amazon, for some reason, cancelled my order. The seller was able to overnight ship me the kit and I got it just in time.Not only does the product work amazingly, the materials with it were really helpful. I didn't mess up a single screen! In fact, my girlfriend and I kept commenting on how stupidly easy it was.My shirts came out great. This stuff blows the Yudu brand sheets out of the water. I wish I had known about this sooner because I have wasted so much money on those damn emulsion sheets!

this kit is insanely way to hard to do its so messy, and I didn't get the screen that was supposed to come with it

I ordered this item mistaking that what I saw was what I would receive. Screens are not included. I wrote the vendor and was told the screens are not in the discription. I received Emulsion, Emulsion remover, a video and a scooper. The discription reads "EVERYTHING YOU NEED!:Coats 50 Yudu screens --like getting 50 emulsion sheets!So much EASIER than Yudu emulsion sheets!Detailed video instructions included.Saves money and aggravation.Everything you need, including emulsion remover.Buyer beware.

I just bought my Yudu and figured I would give this product a shot, especially since it was going to save me so much money when it came to getting working screens compared to using the Yudu emulsion sheets.So I got everything in the mail over a 5 day span. I wanted to wait for all my stuff to come in before I attempted anything. My first attempt to create a screen I used the Yudu emulsion sheet. It took me about 15 minutes to get it as flat on the screen as I could. It took about 40 minutes, 2 Yudu cycles, to dry. Then I went to try and burn it, and was not happy at all with the results. With the Yudu sheets your are limited to how much room can be taken up on the screen. You just have the one sheet. Another downside was that I had to used an ENTIRE bottle of emulsion remover to get rid of the Yudu emulsion sheet. That was $15 down the drain with the sheet and the remover.So for attempt #2 I got out all my Yudu hack stuff. I watched the dvd that came with it and read the pdf files. I felt very comfortable in what I was going to to. I did practice using the emulsion spreader before I gave it a try. I did have time and I needed to wait for the chemicals to mix. After applying the liquid emulsion, which was VERY easy, I placed the screen into the Yudu rack. This is what took some time. It took about 90 minutes for the screen to dry. However 90% of the screen was covered with emulsion, and it was as smooth as can be. The burnt image is perfect and I got some great prints out of it.I did not need to use the emulsion remover that came with this kit, but unlike the tiny amount you get with the Yudu version, you get a gallon of this one.Pro's:* Easy to use* $1 per screen compared to $10 per screen. A big money saver.* Great directions on the DVD & Material* Less hassle trying to get a good screen and you get more screen to use.Con's:* Time. It took about 90 minutes for the emulsion to dry.* The emulsion once mixed is good for about 90 days, you can get a lot done in that time.Bottom line to me, as a brand new Yudu user, this is the way to go. Practice makes perfect, but this was very easy to use, and minus the time it took to dry, I can easily get more screens made for less money, to profit more on my end.

I love this kit and would highly recommend for Yuduers! The Yudu emulsion sheets are so expensive and too thick; they were always messing up prints - if I could even get it to be usable. With "Hack the Yudu" applying emulsion is so fast and your screens will come out with perfect edges. I have past experience screenprinting on traditional, large screens and the emulsion we used for those screens is the same you'll get with the "Hack the Yudu" kit. Also, the emulsion remover that comes in this kit is much more effective than the kind you can buy in craft stores.
