Much better than expected and definitely better than built in webcam
I didn't expect the quality of the video and camera to be that good. However after receiving it and using it, it's much better than expected. The build quality is good. The images and video capturing are night and day compared to the webcam on my laptop. Don't have another external webcam to compare to. The first image here is the built in webcam and while the color is good it is dark and grainy and hard to distinguish the ceiling and light cover pattern. The other 3 images are from the Nexigo camera and you can see that the images are brighter and clearer. The popcorn ceiling and pattern on the light cover are readily discernible. The 2nd and 3rd images are using the cameras physical zoom button and the images are good. These were all taken with no lights, blinds down and gray skies. It works well with the camera app auto-focusing. The field of view is good as well and the described 95 degrees. I think if it went higher than that it would have a fisheye effect that plagues a lot of these cameras with >100 degree FOV. The video works just as well. 30 FPS is what you get and all you need. 60 FPS or higher is only necessary for recording sports or other high speed actions/movements so don't be fooled or dissuaded by anyone saying 60 FPS makes a webcam better. Only thing that can be better for a webcam is better low light imaging or 4k resolution. Or a microphone, which the one on here is good as well and more than adequate for meetings. Although the laptop microphone works well too. But if you make videos or whatnot you probably have a separate microphone as well or headphones for meetings. One thing I will say, and it's only for windows and must be a manufacturer or camera app problem is that you can't change the mirroring on your display. So while the recorded video or image on the receiving end of a video call is correct, left to right, when looking at your screen it's not mirrored. This isn't a problem on my chromebook (there's an option to change screen mirroring on the camera app) or Android TV. So it must be a windows issue and google searches do find it to be an issue with windows as well as Skype, Teams with external webcams. Zoom it seems you have the option to switch to mirroring. The material of the camera is nice and has a matte look to it. Changing the zoom is easy to do with the physical button, but it would've been nice if you could change it using a mouse or keyboard on screen. But it's plug and play, no drivers, so use 3rd party apps I guess. My only nit picking complaint for now is that the privacy shutters are stiff to close but maybe with time and use will be easier. But they work when closed. It sits well on the laptop but you can use camera stand as well since it has the threading for it. It's easy to adjust and swivel the position of the camera. I like it so much I bought 2 more for my kid's laptop that they're getting for Christmas as well. Since they're spending more time seeing friends online nowadays and probably will be for the next year at least.

Good Inexpensive Camera for Video Conference
This is a good camera for the price and should work well if you want to upgrade your builtin laptop camera. The video quality is at least better than the builtin camera for a 2018 MacBook Air. It does ok with low light, but I would still add extra LED lights. The lens could be better. There is some lens barrel distortions (fisheye curve) on the sides of the image. If you are using digital zoom then probably won't notice. The noise cancellation and audio quality seems to be pretty good as well. It works with no problems so far on the Windows, Mac, and Linux computers I have tested it with.If you are using Linux, the v4l2-ctl options are:brightness (int) : min=0 max=100 step=1 default=50 value=50contrast (int) : min=0 max=100 step=1 default=50 value=50saturation (int) : min=0 max=100 step=1 default=50 value=50And the format options are:[0]: 'MJPG' (Motion-JPEG, compressed)[1]: 'YUYV' (YUYV 4:2:2)[2]: 'H264' (H.264, compressed)

Competent webcam with digital zoom.
Best I can tell, this webcam does everything it claims to do. The digital zoom was important for me, as a regular wide angle lens reveals parts of the room which people walk through and may become distracting. The button on top digitally zooms in 3 steps. The final zoom is quite close. Too close for me, but might be good if your webcam is mounted further away than average - 2 arms lengths or so.The privacy shutter is a nice touch, but a bit stiff. You're likely to accidentally move the webcam from where it sits by trying to close the shutter. There is a ΒΌ-20 mounting threaded hole on the bottom so that it can be mounted to an array of camera holding equipment, like mini tripods and clamping rigs etc... Very useful! It is pretty much plug and play, with the possible exception that whatever software you're using may require that you manually select the added USB webcam or it will default to your standard webcam if you're using a laptop. I had to do this for Zoom, but not for Google Meets. The quality is significantly better than the average laptop webcam. My $2000 Lenovo 2-in-1 and my girlfriend's $800-ish Lenovo business laptop both saw a measurable upgrade by moving to this USB webcam.

Good camera for the price, but not great for a regular desk setup
This webcam is good quality for the price, but the field of view is too wide for a single person. The zoom button is a really nice idea. Unfortunately that feature isn't fully fleshed out though. The camera doesn't remember your zoom setting (so you have to press the button every time you join a call), and the focus point is still too far back even when zoomed in. This results in an unfocused and washed out image if you're sitting too close to the camera, i.e. at a desk with the camera on your monitor. The privacy cover is also to tight to open and close which means I end up just not using it.

Autofocus Not What It's Cracked Up to Be
I do a lot of facilitation and coaching and it's all online (and has been for years). I have a stand up desk and often facilitate and walk up and slightly away from the camera. I tried the highly auto focus cameras and found them distracting. You will often see the background slightly blur and then your face come into focus. It's like a heartbeat rhythm. I found it distracting both as a facilitator and also as a participant. The last thing you want when facilitating anything in person or virtual is a distraction that doesn't need to be there. I prefer this camera because of the zoom feature. I can zoom out and get more of me and my surroundings in the frame, or I can zoom in and get less. The quality is solid, no blurring at any zoom setting. The camera itself is also full adjustable left/right, up/down and is easily perched on top of my monitor. It's a little larger than most cameras, but really who cares? It's still easily portable if I need it. It also has built-in camera covers. I can't vouch for the speaker quality, as I have a separate device for that. The microphone pick up is decent, but again, I use my separate device for it so it's not a deal breaker.

Great easy to use Webcam, minor design flaws.
Pros:- Works great and easy setup with no drivers required on Windows 10 (I have not tried this with any other OS)- Video and audio are clearly received when using this for video chatting ( the camera is placed around 60-90 cm away from where I'm sitting)- Digital zoom works with no software requiredCons:- Digital zoom button is really stiff and will move your camera when it's mounted above a monitor- The privacy shutter is useful, however does not slide smoothly. You will need to apply pressure and slide each side separately.
