Brilliant quality and easy to setup
I have numerous indoor cameras and outdoor cameras from blink, as well has a doorbell and flood light! The outdoor cameras are so easy to setup, literally slap the batteries in, use the app to sync the camera up, and screw it down somewhere outdoors. The night vision is great for capturing badgers and foxes in our garden at night, it’s so clear and crisp when I watch the recordings back.

Reasonable price and good quality
The Blink camera give a good quality image but getting the triggering setup mastered can take a while. I moved them a couple of times so they would pick up traffic in my drive and still be in range of the sync module. The response time can be a little slow - Occasionally I get clips that show very little when I know there has been movement.Overall for the price and quality they are good value. I use a usb in the module for storage though deleting can be a bit of a pain.

Very versatile, with a few drawbacks
I bought these originally to supplement my permanent CCTV system when it was obscured by scaffolding. I now own 8 of the outdoor cameras and a couple of the indoor ones. On the plus side, they are super-easy to set up, small enough that the don’t draw attention to themselves, pretty robust (I’ve had a bunch of them outdoors for nearly two years) and the battery really does last a long time if you get the settings right. Night vision is pretty good and I don’t get as many problems with back scatter as I do on my fixed CCTV cams as there’s no dome over the camera. The temperature warning feature on the outdoor units is very useful - I put one in an unoccupied flat during the winter and it would warn me if the temp dropped below the danger point in a freeze. The compromise is that the image quality is a bit low, quite noisy and compressed even on the highest setting - don’t expect to be able to read number plates if the vehicle is more than 20 feet away. The motion sensitivity is a bit tricky to manage, the exclusion zones don’t always work, especially at night where ghost images from the infra red render them effectively useless. I had a tech problem so I used the online customer support - it was effectively useless, with the only advice being “turn it off and back on again”, I figured it out myself in the end.One unexpected application of the cameras was that I used three of them to monitor a rat infestation in my back garden - the night vision came into its own, allowing me to figure out where they were coming from (a broken drain in my neighbour’s garden) and then to check they’d really gone after we’d dealt with them. Awesome. The software - both the mobile app and desktop versions - is pretty good, but not as sophisticated as the Ring system.Placement of the cameras can be tricky as they need to receive your wifi network and the local network generated by the sync unit base station (which is about the size of a matchbox with very little range). If your property has thick walls you may need to install multiple sync units to talk to cameras which are too far apart for one unit to reach - I’m currently running three in my house which has big solid Victorian walls.Overall I am a big fan of the blink system, but I wouldn’t rely on it as a replacement for a hardwired permanent system on a large property, but as a way of keeping an eye on a parking space or a temporary setup to deal with a specific problem then it’s pretty good.

Time lapse and notifications awful - but wait!
It's good, very good. Easy to install and setup. No cables and wires.I've put a 8gb memory stick in mine and can reject it and watchvideos on the main PC.Very concerned about the time-lapse though. Was expecting a package fromAmazon on Tuesday 27 October 2020, heard a van door go and it was withinmy delivery slots. Switched the camera on and observed the man getting out hisvan. Suddenly there was a knock on the door? I was still watching him walkto my front door time-lapse was more than 10 seconds. A notification then wasmade on my iPhone?Amazon really need to get this sorted, not good enough. In this day andage it renders the 'talk to' useless? By time, you've connected to the phoneand got the camera on (15 seconds after the event) they've gone... so what'sthe point??I've marked it down to 3 stars because of this. My rear garden camera has a timelapse of around a second which beats this hands down.If Amazon can get the time delay sorted it will be a fantastic bit of kitbut at the moment perhaps other cameras would be better?UPDATE: 8th December 2020.I obtained another camera about 2 weeks ago and placed this at the rear of the house. Having 2 camerasimproved performance greatly. A quick change in settings to activating 'early' motion and time was down to almost 6 seconds from notification to seeing who was at the door.Really pleased now, an extra camera does help! Thoroughly recommend this product and get 2 cameras if you can!
