AmbrosiaDevon Custard (400g) - Pack of 6

I had this while on vacation in Scotland. Loved it with Sticky Toffee Pudding. But would be good with lots of things. Very creamy. Easy to use hot or cold. I often heat it up in the microwave to pour over sponge cake and fruit. Glad to be able to order it through Amazon, although a bit pricey, I find it is worth it.

Made a ton of apple pies last fall and this custard is perfect for them. It might be a little sweet for some.

Best custard ever. Not as sickly sweet as domestic custard. Convenient to just open a can.

This custard is delicious! I use is to have a quick topping for fruit, berries and many desserts instead of ice cream. Unfortunately all but one of my last shipment of six cans had dents in them which causes concern to use. Please address the way this product is packed for shipping and I will continue to purchase. Thank you

Each can was severely dented when received. On purpose?

I’m so happy I can get this Devon custard from Amazon, especially a 6 pack!! It’s just as I remember back in England. For those people whose comments seem disappointed, take it from me heat the custard in a pan pour some of it over a chocolate cake (my fav), plain cake or pound cake, or pour some on apple pie, peach pie or any pie or cake of ur choice, u can even eat it cold if u want, but me and my family enjoy it warm!! Mmm so delicious. I’m gonna have to order more for me and my sister, it doesn’t last long in our house! I hope this helped!! I’m glad my cans arrived with no dents! And expiration date is unfortunately March 2021!! Thankfully it’ll be eaten by then!

All 6 cans were very badly dented.You would think they were dropped from a mountain top.Therefore not a great value money.Was so looking forward to them too.At this rate it would have been more beneficial to just physically go to the store and buy them.At least that way I can be assured of a good product.

My wife found Ambrosia Devon Custard at World Market in San Diego about twelve years ago and it immediately became a favorite treat while watching movies from the couch. To me, this has been the best tasting custard-like product I've ever come across. I think great cooks (my mother was one and a local restaurant used to be one) can get the flavor and consistency nearly perfect, but this stuff is an admirable and delicious substitute for something freshly made. If you'd like to dive into deeper degeneration, top it with a great fresh whipped cream and a very light sprinkle of nutmeg.
