Portable Bluetooth Speaker - The New Hipster - Ultra Cool & Wireless - Clip it - Stand It - Play It - For iPhones, iPads, Android and other Smart Phones

I KNOW, I KNOW, this is a joke, right? NO WAY!!This tiny, little, petite, cute, silly looking speaker actually works well, very well! Of course there are better sounding speakers out there, they come in every size and shape you can imagine, and at every price point. Will this fill up my living room or be loud enough for a pool party, maybe not but it's TINY and $14.95. SO, spend the $15 and be amazed when you fire it up. It really does have a great sound and plenty of volume for it's size. Like the website says clip it to just about anything or use the clip as a stand. With this speaker on, put it behind or beside a larger speaker and enjoy the expression on your friends face when they pick up the larger speaker and put it up to their ear and then look in disbelief at this little thing. I found it's very handy as a travel speaker if you have a bluetooth transmitter to plug into a T.V. earphone outlet also if you have an older mp3 player like the shuffle. Just plug most anything into the aux input on the HIPSTER and you've got a very tiny, decent sounding portable music system that will fit in your pocket. GO FOR IT, it's really much more than a toy, amazon stocks them and there's still time to buy for stocking stuffers.This was NOT a freebee, I paid for it and I believe I'll be buying more!

Update: 5/23/16I am upgrading my rating to 5 stars for the following reasons:The seller had a 3rd speaker shipped to me and it works as it is supposed to. The seller was very responsive and the speaker sounds really amazing.I was able to take the first two speakers and combine them to make 1 working speaker. I notified the seller but he said he was going to send another replacement anyway.So all is well. I'm happy with the Hipster.Update: Sadly5/19/16I contacted the seller about the issue I was having with the first Hipster not charging and my email was responded to and a replacement was shipped. I received the replacement today and sadly this unit is non-functional as well but for a different reason. The unit will power on and pair however there is no sound. I tried the auxillary input and still no sound. All volume levels checked, no sound. Paired and repaired, no sound. Tried a different phone, no sound. I really wanted to like this cool looking speaker but, if it can't serve its primary duty the it has no value. To be fair the seller did everything right but the product didn't deliver.I paid $10.00 for the speaker and would prefer to have a working speaker than a refund and I just don't feel like complaining so I guess it's end of story.Got a lemon. Will not charge. Only operates while attached to the USB cord.I have emailed URBNGear and will update as the pending resolution evolves.

Could not wait to write a review for this, considering how skeptical I was about its being able to produce decent sound, at high volume, without distortion.For now, I will give 4-stars, but if in a short time it holds up, I will change to 5-stars.My first impressions/thoughts on this little blue tooth speaker upon removing the well protected package from the mailbox, was that what was inside, was very light, and could it be any good? The answer is, a big YES!Although very light, the flat black plastic housing and clip feel about as sturdy as one should expect for the price, definitely sturdy enough!I think that the hollowness of the housing, assists in helping the acoustics of this little blue tooth speaker, to produce the crystal clear/big sound that it does.I played opening theme to Star Wars for some friends of mine at work...as loud as the volume would allow, and all were absolutely blown away by the sound that this little blue tooth speaker was producing!!!Please note: I allways turn the volume all the way up any device that I am using, be it my cell phone or tablet; and then control the primary volume with the blue tooth speaker itself, which may or may not help.?. Regardless, I could not be happier with this purchase from amazon.com!Right now, I have it clipped to one of the belt loops on my shorts as I write this review, and it easily/effortlessly goes with me everywhere and anywhere I go!:)I would definitely recommend the URBNGear "Hipster" blue tooth speaker to any of my friends, family...and you!:)Hope this review helps!

i emailed them regarding that its not holding charge no response, but I get and email Inviting me to leave a review so here it is. Got the the product same same day because a friend recommended it so i said I'll try it paid the same day shipping fee turn it on, nothing so i said maybe needs charging so charged it up for about 1hr tried again turn on then it turned back off on its own. just wont hold the charge emailed them right away never heard back but got an email today to leave a review.

The stand folds flat, AWAY from the base, making it hard to store.You can turn it on and adjust the volume, but not turn it off (I shut the laptop and about 30 seconds later it beeps that it's off; the power button is useless).It drains more power than it charges. In other words, I can plug it into the charger and use it for about 4 hours and it's dead. Without plugging in, it gets 2.5 hours on low volume.It is pretty good for voice, but not enough quality for music.

I bought one of these for my Wife so she could have music without the earphones. She absolutely loved these. The quality is pretty good(although i would like it if the clip was metal instead of plastic) and the sound it utterly amazing for the size. They have a 4-6 hour lifespan on the battery which is perfect for a long walk or exercise and the recharge time is 2-3 hours. Over all these are well worth the money and shipping was free from Prime. I was so happy with this purchase I bought a second one for myself.

There were a few moments when I got this speaker to hook up to my Bluetooth, but I got tired of trying to get it to work. And when it did work, the speaker was not even louder than the speaker on my phone. I finally threw it into the trash where it belongs.
