✔ If you want to improve the signal of a single digital TV antenna, moving it closer to a window or higher up on a wall might do the trick.✔ The digital TV signal is a ‘line of sight’ signal. Typically, the higher you have your antenna, the better the reception. While signals pass through walls and other surfaces, the more obstructions the signal encounters, the weaker the signal and this causes signal disruption. The clearest, most unobstructed view to the broadcast towers will allow the antenna to perform at the highest level.✔ The main disadvantage is that roofing materials may prevent the antenna from picking up channels clearly. Other factors like fluorescent lights and computers may also have a negative effect on your TV receiving a clear picture from the antenna.✔ 360°design pulls in signal from all directions. If a signal cannot be received with the amplifier, remove the antenna amplifier and try again. You can flexible position for the optimal signal reception, especially for a TV sits distant from the window . ✔ The antenna can support 1080P, 720P and 4K,ASTC , and so on, but please don't put the antenna very nearly in Magnetic products, that is also interfere with signal and magnetic objects will deteriorate image quality, you should put the antenna far away from Magnetic products and put the antenna on the window, and facing the outside place.Technical Specifications Type: Indoor antennaBrand Name: antessFrequency Range : VHF174-230/ UHF470-862MhzGain : 5dB/25dB with amplifierVSWR : 2.0Polarization : verticalImpedance : 75 ohmsSize : 60*148.5mmCable Length : 9.8 ftPower supply : By setboxConnector Type : F male or customized

Very Happy With My Purchase
Placed the antenna in an upstairs bedroom which didn't have a in wall receptacle for a cable attachment. Product works good. I ran a scan for channels on the 35 mile setting the first time got 39 stations but a few were a little fuzzy. Ran it again on the higher setting and received 34 channels - all came in very clear! However, they recommend that you set the booster at the 35 mile setting for the majority of viewing. I'm also sure that the picture quality will vary based on your TV and the distance from the broadcast tower. Some of the HD stations came in better than I get from my cable provider and others don't.

What is this item switching crap? SCAMMER!!!
I'm going through some of my old reviews and seen this one and didn't recognize the item that was pictured. Its NOT. The seller has taken the good reviews of this product and swapped in a new item. I can only imagine that this product is junk and they are trying to deceive people. This is not ok. This undermines the value of the review system is is blatantly deceitful.I do not appreciate my feed back being used to trick and defraud other Amazon buyers.Original review-------------This amp has worked beautifully! Sometimes you can't have too much base and being able to isolate the bass channels is great.

This little thing Rocks Here in Indiana Pa
I was expecting to get about 3-5 channel, and I did with it near a window inside the house , so wanted to see if it made a difference outside , so I put it on the roof and extended it down to the basement and connected it to old cable wire splitter that ties in every tv in house through the walls, after a channel scan on each tv , this antenna half way up on roof i'm able to pull in 26-30 local channels crystal clear, Now the one in pictures here looks to be plastic and has a built in usb plug that I had to run extension cord to, The one they sent me is a metal top not plastic , I would suggest getting the little more expensive one with the amplifier not built into cable , this way you can plug it right in the basement. just ordered the other, see how it does[2020 New] Chaowei DVB88 Amplified Indoor Outdoor Small Digital TV Antenna with Detachable Amplifier Signal Booster,Magnetic Base,16.5ft Coax Cable,60

Beware of all the other reviews that were actually for another, better product
First I wish I'd have read the reviews instead of just looking at the rating. Then I would have discovered they'd used a listing for some kind of amplifier that got great reviews to sell their crap antenna. You can get much better performing antennas for less money. The channels it could get were not very good or reliable signals, despite the towers only bring 10 - 15 miles away. Also this is a UHF only antenna. If there are any VHF stations in your market, you won't get them at all with this antenna.

excellent sound at a low price
The amp arrived quickly; ordered 11/6/14, arrived 11/10/14. The very basic manual/info sheet, is in Chinese, luckily the controls and connections are fairly straight forward, and labeled in English on the amp.Bought this amp for a bedroom TV, where we did not have room or need for a full surround sound system. I chose this amp because of the subwoofer output. I had an old Panasonic passive subwoofer, that I am now using with the amp. For the left & right stereo speakers I am using a pair of Monoprice Satellite Speakers (110800). The 40" RCA led TV we have in the bedroom does not have an audio out, so I am planning on using an AV (A/B) switch to toggle between the audio out of the Directv DVR, and the audio out of the Sony blue ray player. The system sounds excellent, and can easily generate more volume than we, or our next door neighbors need. The amp has a separate subwoofer volume control, which is good because the subwoofer was vibrating the window. The amp does not have a remote so it took a little longer to get the levels where I liked them. The lack of a remote is a pain, but I can do without it for the size and price of this amp. The only amps that had both a subwoofer output and a remote, that I could find, were full on receivers, which take up too much space, and cost more than I want to spend for a bedroom TV system. The amplifier's red power light, and the blinking blue light (for the subwoofer?) are distracting, especially in a dark room. I plan on covering the lights with a piece of tape.Time will tell, but so far I am satisfied.

Basic amp for basic purposes
This isn't doing any heavy work. It's powering a pair of Dayton Audio B652 6.5" Bookshelf Speakers in my gym. I just wanted something to replace the terrible TV speakers. I run a Roku into my Viera plasma, then run optical out to Digital Toslink to Analog Converter , which feeds into this LEPY amp. See attached picture for a better idea. The amp does have an inline power adapter in the power cord, similar to a laptop. It also uses cheap spring connections for your speaker wire - not my favorite, but this is a cheap amp. It works. There are ears on both sides for mounting to a surface. The amp drives the speakers plenty loud for my basement gym. It has a bright power light, so it's not idea for dark rooms. The pots/knobs are okay. I really wish there was a remote or something for them, but again...it's a cheap amp. I can walk my butt across the gym to adjust volume at this price point.

Not that great.
Its ok. The bass starts to distort easily when increased ever so slightly from low end. For what I am using it for (Arcade/Gaming sounds) its fine will do the trick. If you're building a jukebox or want decent audio, spend some extra $$$ and get something better,
