BranditMen's Windbreaker Frontzip Jacket

I already have 3 or 4 brandit jackets ( you can take the man out of the army etc....!) Of different designs and am always complimented on how cool they look. There are well made and a bit like a pair of jeans they look better with wear... I will no doubt buy more in the future!

I really like the jacket .It is very comfortable and warm and is ideal for cooler days and it looks good. It is not suitable for exposed hill walking conditions but it does not claim to be that sort of jacket. It does fit large and even an S is loose on me and I have a 38’’ chest, but that does mean you can wear it over other layers, The Velcro strip on the cuffs is inadequate to tighten them effectively and the internal pocket is on the small size with a small piece of Velcro to secure it, but at least it has a. Internal pocket. These are minor complaints and it is excellent value for money.

I love this jacket because it's thin enough to wear during the Spring, but warms enough to wear for the Winter (in the UK). The Brandit brand is one I recently discovered on my trip to the UK, and I already bought 5 jackets from them! Love that brand, and love their jackets. This front zipper windbreaker is exactly what I was looking for. I'm a size 48-50 chest in US size, and the XL was a perfect fit, even though the sizing says it's for a 46/47 chest. I also purchased the XXL size just to be safe and had to return that size because it was too big. You may be able to go one size down, it just depends.

Pros: it's well made, the lining helps keep you warm.Cons: I'm a 4xl 5xl layered up (broad shouldered) so, I went to the maximum of 7xl, just incase of space needed when I go hiking. Well, to say it's a snug fit would be an understatement. I look like a military green sausage about to burst my seams..

Just what was needed when visiting my patients overnight

The stitching under the arm has failed after 5 weeks. I’ve worn the coat about 4 timesThe fitting is nothing special but the coat is warm. I only wanted it to walk the dogs inI really can’t recommend this coat I’ve had better from AsdaThe cuffs have a little Velcro which doesn’t do anything as it too smallThe zips have some nasty elastic tied on not even proper zipper pullsNow I am am left to repair the coatSave your money buy something else

As a big bloke I and I'm sure many others rely on companies and their products to be truthful. In the case of this jacket their sizing is woefully inaccurate and nowhere near a size 7xl, pleae avoid if this is the size you really require.
