I read other reviews of this product that complained about tangled wires and not working well. Despite these, I bought the light strings.I bought my first string of lights in November. Now, in April, I am buying another set for another project and I am completely satisfied with them.As for tangling, the wires were neatly stored in the box. The tangling came in when I was stringing the lights. It was my own fault. With small, supple wires and lots of lights, you have to be very careful or you will get tangling. If a skein of yarn tangles, I don't blame the yarn.As far as charging and staying lit is concerned, I saw no problems whatsoever. Admittedly I live in Colorado where we get a lot of sunshine. Even when it has been cloudy, the lights have come on and stayed lit all night long. They are still on in the morning before the sun comes up. Of course Colorado also means snow and cold temperatures. Despite these, the lights continue to work as well as they did the day I installed them.They are a beautiful way of lighting our trellis and much easier than trying to run wires from the house. The extra wire going from the light string to the charger is long enough that it was easy to place the solar panel where I wanted it.

The lights are great and work well.. the only thing is that I ordered the warm light ones, but received three sets of white ones.. so they don't really match the rest of the lights.. I needed the lights right away for an event so I didn't return them.. But would have preferred to receive what I ordered" the warm ones (that are more yellow).Otherwise they are great and work well.

I have had several sets of string lights for my deck. The problem I continue to run into is that they only stay on for a couple hours. Me and my husband enjoying sitting on the deck each evening howver its usually about 9:30 before we are abke to sit down and relax and by then the lights are already out or go out shortly. I really reserched pruor to buying these lights. They were a little pricey for only being 100 lights but they are worth it. I have noticed these lights still on at 3:30 am when I got up in the middle of the night. They also come on as its getting dark vs other ones that come on too soon. I dont usually write reviews but since I used reviews to decide on these lights, I decided to leave a review. Bottom line: These last through the night and are a good quality light set.

The lights are fine. My issue is that I paid $50 for 2 sets of these, but needed more. I took a few extra minutes to search, and found the same product for less than half of the price - I paid $17.99 for another 2 sets - total, not each. I feel this product is way overpriced, but I had already put them in my yard.

I waited to write a review because I wanted to use the lights for awhile to see how they worked. I wrapped the 2 sets I purchased around the bottom of pine trees. I am very pleased with their performance. We have had some days of partial sun and they still operate way into the night. I used the first 2 for a couple of wks before I bought another one. I like them so much I may buy more! These are exactly as described. It states on the package to charge them for a full 8 hours but here in PA we had a morning of sun and then cloudy for the rest of the day so I charged them for a couple of days to make sure. These lights add a nice touch to our property. I love looking out my kitchen window at night and seeing the lights! :)

I purchased several sets of these a few years ago and they lasted forever. I recently moved to Florida and purchased 3 sets to line my fence as I had when I lived in Illinois. Within two weeks two of the sets stopped working in a few sections so I exchanged them for new. I installed the two new sets and then the third original set did the same thing. I have now replaced all three sets and within two weeks, all three sets have sections that either do not light up or they have sections that light up at different times so that there is is always a large dark area. I am returning all for a refund and will look for an alternative brand.

We were skeptical, read a lot of reviews of other imported brands with problems and ended up trying these--they're great. The warm white bulbs were large enough and bright enough, the string long enough for our arborvitae, easy to hang and adjust. We were worried about positioning the solar panel, but had enough cable length to mount it up a few feet on a wire frame against a nearby fence where it has gotten enough winter sun most days to work for six or more hours after dark. Couldn't be happier.

I have these on trees in my backyard. They are not very bright, but they do not get 12 hours of sun either. They work well enough to make the backyard look a little nicer, but these will not create light unless you use many sets.
