I had my doubts, but this fireplace screen is great! Very sturdy and well made, very simple to put the legs on as well. Looks a lot sleeker and finishes the fireplace off a lot better than our previous one, would absolutely recommend!

Quality is good and it looks good around the brick fireplace.

I wanted to write a review, after reading the negative reviews (with pictures provided), I wanted to let you know this is a sturdy, good looking screen and a very good value. I notice the complaints were showing pictures that had the item placed backward (the flat side is the backside, the chevron pattern should be placed outward), there is a front and a back & the backside is painted differently. Also, one review mention the screw holes didn't match. First, you install the "bolts" loosely and then slide the "feet" into place & then tighten down. The pewter is much lighter than expected, but I will probably spray paint it flat black anyway.

I really like the design of the screen.(+) Great looking chevron design(+) Size was as described(+) Easy installation(-) Wish the gold was more brighter. This is more antiqued/distressed gold. I wish I read the description better. I may just paint it a brighter hue of gold.(-) Was hoping it would be a bit heavier. Unsure if my dog or cat will knock this over. It’s not super light but feels around 8-9lbs.

Oh man, where to start. First off I was very hesitant to buy. Fireplace screens are NOT cheap, but this one was so inexpensive. (Granted this isn't the sturdiest... Kinda flimsy honestly, but I'm going for looks here...)I was also nervous about the photos from one reviewer where it looks really dark, like almost black (not the one who actually spray painted it black on purpose, the other one where they said it was really distressed gold coloring). Now that I have the screen and look at their photos I know they have their screen backwards... The back is very dark and probably unpainted. The front is a nicely distressed gold. Not shiny and perfect, but perfectly distressed 😉So happy I bought this. It does rock a little when touched, but most fireplace screens just stand there, so no biggie, just keep the kids away...Also, shipping was faster than expected.

I read the reviews prior to making this purchase. I orginally wanted gold but was unsure. The black is beautiful, looks modern and clean. So simple to screw leg on ad comes w the allen wrench. Prior to screwing the legs on, it seemed a bit short but it is the perfect fit.

Better then i had anticipated it looking! We were looking at very expensive screen covers but couldnt pull the trigger. Glad we went with this copper screen, easy to put the legs on and pit my fireplace perfectly, and love how it looks!

The media could not be loaded.  The first thing I did when I came across this screen was do what any smart shopper would do-read the reviews. I went ahead and ordered this screen with a clear understanding that the gold coloring would be distressed, matte and not overly bright. I was okay with that. But what I got is far more orange/ bronze that what the reviews, or my photos, will lead you to believe. It is absolutely more orange than gold. There is also a ton of distressing. So much so that it looks like the screen has spent lots of time shielding a roaring fire. There are swaths of black on the mesh that make it look tinged or smoked with wear. If you’re looking for a rustic look, this is totally the screen for you. If you’re looking for something more MCM or modern, you’ll likely need to repaint it. At least with the gold option. Black may be great. Considering the disparity between the photos and what you’ll receive, I believe this screen is overpriced. If I saw this at Home Goods or AtHome, I wouldn’t pay a cent over $40. I gambled and lost, but I’ll try to repaint it and save it because the box it came in was covered in mold on one side. You couldn’t pay me enough to touch it again. P.S. it also came with a dent in the foot thanks to lack of protective packaging.
