This is a great - and unique - offering by Buff. It's super comfortable, first of all - if there are any seems in there, I can't feel them. And it's not itchy at all, unlike my "Young Buck"-style ski-mask (which is actually meant for robbing convenience stores).This really works out because you can put a hat over this is you want full warmth of a hat, but now you can cover any or all of your face for warmth as well, without hot-boxing yourself in. This is really well-thought out.And it's great to have the talking vent for both speaking clarity and venting moisture from your mouth. Also great to be able to just pull the whole bottom part down when desired. Really a great solution for super cold adventures (including skiing, of course).

Bad design. Sides are stitched together with a small piece of thread, supposedly to keep the mask together at your temples so you can pull it under your chin w/o exposing your ears. Broke as soon as I put it on. Also, a very tight fit. No stars for a fail, but Amazon makes you rank w/ a star before you can leave a review, thus, one star.

I have an average size head.It’s very, very tight.It may fit a small child’s head,but not an adult’s average sized head..

It does fit a bit snug but I didn't mind that. Not bulky, you can absolutely put a ballcap, fedora, or cowboy hat on over it. I'm mule riding the canyon this Jan and this is going with me. I did get the all-black which looks like a religious garment but I always wear a hat so no worries for me. Feels warm and I love the breathing slats in front of the mouth.

Lightweight, warm and well made Balaclava. Exactly what I was looking for.

The fit on this is perfect for a relatively average sized guy.I like the fabric. It’s warm without being hot. It’s thin and doesn’t affect helmet fit.My sunglasses sit easily in this balaclava.The vents over the mouth are nice, but it’s also easy to breathe through the nose.I’m impressed!

Suited for children and small adults only. Not for average adults.Can't comment on features. I barely pulled it on before squeezing my face out again.

Way too small. Crushes your face. Other brands are much better.
