I used to have a pump with the little attached bottom. Such a pain to fill because I felt like I would out too much in every time and waste more when trying to put pump head back in. Not any more with this. I replaced all mine with these. They look nice and work great. Only negative was the tube was a tad flimsy, so easy to kink tube and prevent flow. Luckily, the tube clips provided helped address that issue.

10 yeast ago I put a soap dispenser on the galley sink on my sailboat.You cant just put abottle of dishwashing detergent on a counter and expect it to stay there when you are sailing across oceans.While the initial pump worked fine and was certainly more convenient than dealing with a bottle that had to be put away all the time It was a pain to have to refill the relatively small bottle that attached to the pump under the counter.The bottle was in a very tight space so removing the bottle to fill it was not an option. Filling it from the big jug almost always made a mess and any mess that required water to clean up was especially problematic when all of your water is coming through a water maker.Theis pump opffered the option of pumping soap directly from big bottle of costco dishwashing detergent so it will be months before I have to deal with replacing the jug.This pump was easy to install. It fit into the same hole as my original pump and the attachment system snugged up nice and tight with just hand tightening.I was careful to make sure the black part of the in-line check valve was toward the pump, as stated in the instructions, and it seems to be holding its prime just fine.It took a lot of pumps to get the soap all the way up to the pump but once it got there dispensing soap was easy. I think I probably pumped it between 50 and 100 times to get it primed. I should have counted the strokes required to prime it. Sorry.This pump seems to give better control over the amount dispwensed than the old one..This went so well that Im going to install another one of these pumps by the sink in the head (that's what we call the bathroom on a boat).

If you have new construction, no problem installation. Older construction, the hardest part is getting the old fixture out before getting the new one in.The instructions that came with mine was definitely meant for a different unit - one that has the reservoir screwed onto the pump. But anyone with even a passing ability to figure things out won't have a problem.My reason for only 4 stars? The stopper provided to go into various sized soap containers to keep the delivery tube in the container tend to pop out over a short period of time. The stepped stoppers used by other brands could help. A trip to the hardware store will help me. And real cork may be better than rubber.

The media could not be loaded.  I was looking for a automatic soap dispenser and saw this and decided to give it a try. Pretty easy install. I did cut the hose a little bit because it was too long. Seems to work great so far. 🥰

I have installed it exactly as it says in the instructions, and as they show on the video. It simply doesn’t suck the soap up the pipe. Waste of time, waste of money.

The instructions are clear enough and thourough. it was easy to install except the stopper and lids included don't fit. The only way to make it work would be to buy a different brand of detergent. The stopper is not like the picture. It's not tapered. It only would fit one very specific bottle size. If you are in the US, it won't fit Ajax bottles or any like that.

I ordered this for my dish soap and installed it as per the manual. It worked fine for couple of days, but then I had to press 50 times to get the dish soap out. Not at all happy with the purchase for the price I paid.
