These clever little clamping blocks differ from the traditional ones in one very important way - the circular clamping surface allows force to be applied at any angle, and with pinpoint precision. That versatility means you can say goodbye to those cluttered heaps of miter blocks that are good only for specific angles. In addition to handling virtually any miter, these easily clamp notoriously difficult joints, such as scarf joints, bevels and mortise and tenon joints where the tenon extends through the mortise. They're also perfect for clamping simple ninety degree joints on large assemblies when you don't have a clamp that's long enough. It's a simple tool with utility limited only by your imagination.Technical Details:Constructed of Hard Aluminum.Clamping blocks include neoprene pads for extra grip and scratch protection.Ribbed gripping surface on the blocks also reduces slippage.Hole in clamping block allows it to be used as a hold-down.3/4" loop end is perfect for clamping long angle jointsBLOKKZ measure 5" Long x 1" Width x 5/16" ThickA length of pipe can be fed through multiple clamping blocks for easy alignment when clamping long bevel joints.

Clamping miter joints made easy
While installing custom trim for windows and doors I wanted to ensure tight miter joints at the corners, despite the uneven wallboard surface on which it was installed. I used two large size biscuits and glued the miter joints, which did the trick nicely. These Blokkz clamping blocks were perfect for clamping the joint while the glue set. One Blokkz on either side of the joint and a pipe clamp can apply pressure across the two circles, at right angles to the joint so there is no slipping from the pressure. The geometry of the circles allows the user to apply pressure in any direction. End-to-end joints, T-joints, odd angles, you name it. The clever woodworker will find numerous uses for these clamping accessories. Be sure to buy enough for the type joints you'll be working on.

This just works
I was having issues gluing up some mitered door rails and stiles, trying to get a tight fit. tried several more complex clamping solutions, but could not really get pressure on the miter. Got a set of these (elsewhere) and with three clamps, was abae to consistently get perfect joints. Simple, yet very effective and efficient. Highly recommended.
