They are very stretchy,these are of very good quality and highly recommended.

I am a 12 and I bought medium. They fit me snugly but have plenty of stretch and are very comfortable.

Q: Are they suitable for swimming?

I dont think they would be and I dont think the chlorine would do the fabric any good.
