Warm best for under 40 degree's
5"10 155 using a men' medium. True body fit so there's no bulging or wind drag. Surprising light for the amount of warmth it offers. To warm with a T shirt over 50 use something else. 40-50 perfect with a T shirt. 30-40 use a long sleeve thermal under. 20-30 T shirt and thermal long sleeve under and you will be warm for a 2 hour ride. My only jacket now. I think the secrete is the wind protection material. I have to say it took several years to find the perfect winter gear. This jacket plus their bib thermal pants with windstopper keep you feeling light, tight and fast.

2023 fabric technology is pretty insane
Size: Large. Color: Black.Comfort: I can wear it and browse Amazon in my 70° house with just a plain white tee underneath fully zipped up and if it wasnt for the soft collar I would forget its on.Performance: with the same plain white tee as a base layer, I can ride at an average speed of 19mph in 24° F cloudy weather and be comfortable. Sometimes overheating a little in sprints but thats to be expected. Its impressive what sort of gloves and leg layers I need to keep up with this single jacket.Fit: Im 6'2 170, 25 years old and have been riding about XC about 11 years. My wingspan is longer than average for my height, so finding jackets with long enough sleeves, especially for riding, is difficult. Again this jacket fits like it advertised. Perfect wrist coverage on and off the bike, the neck is slightly snug but not too restrictive, and in the event of subzero weather, its fitting enough to throw a windbreaker or anything over.

the last of a dying breed
gore tex is being phased out, so get it while you can. a breathable water proof membrane embedded in the fabric to keep you warm, dry, and safe from the wind.

Nice for cool dry
Wish it was as warm as advertised. Breast pocket is a good thing. Tight - can only wear a skin tight base layer beneath. Can wear for an hour in mid forties and working. Cold once stop moving. Upper forties it’s good for to two and a half hours. Cold when stopped. Not sure about water resistance. It does breathe. Fits better than other versions - a little longer torso and broader shoulder.

Very effective in cold weather
I use this product as an undergarment under my jacket during the cold weather and it helps retain body heat. I highly recommend this product

Couldn’t be happier for a petite woman
I love the design and was looking for a female version. It wasn’t available. There was an XS men item here and I prayed that it will fit me (XS petite). It was the last item available and discounted to $92. I snatched it as a Christmas gift to myself. The bottom line, it fits me perfectly with enough room to add a base layer and middle layer. I am a Gore fan now.

Great Cycling Jacket - Runs a Full Size Small
First and foremost, this jacket runs a full size small. I am 5'7" 150lbs. I usually order Small, sometimes Medium, but in this jacket I definitely needed a Large. The tag specifies EU Large, US Med. Other sites list it as such, but on Amazon this one is sold as Large. After accidentally ordering and returning the Medium in this jacket I tried the R3 jacket, which I thought would be a similar jacket in a looser running-style cut. It's not similar at all, it's just a windbreaker, completely missing the C3's warm fleece lining.Once I got the correct size the jacket fits great and is very comfortable. I can wear one or two layers underneath. The back is cut lower to keep the wind out and never rides up. The rear pockets are nice, each big enough for a water bottle but small enough to keep items organized. I especially like the zip one for keys and cards. The zippers are easy to pull with gloves and never bind. The sleeves have a little inner portion at the wrists to keep wind out. I really like the neon yellow color. I got some bad grease stains on it on my first ride, but they came out with some stain remover before washing.I think this jacket with a thermal base layer and a shirt underneath would keep me warm on rides in the 20s without feeling bulky. This jacket with just a jersey would suffice for rides in the 40s. It does a great job of keeping the wind out and it's easy to regulate the temperature mid-ride with the main zipper.

Worth it
When you try this on, you can feel the quality you paid for. Worth every penny.A tip about sizing: I wear a size S in Uniqlo, and this jacket fits very well in XL. However, there’s not much room for more than two thin layers underneath
