Nice pants. Soft feeling. Stretch fabric lets you move without binding. Belt loops really help in my case. Hard to decide what size to order. Waist measurement and hip measurement didn't fit the size chart. I was too big in the waist and too small in the hips. Finally ordered the size between these two measurements. Results: just right in the hips and a little small in the waist. Used a belt which prevented the pants from slipping off. Wish some of the sizes were more reflective of body shapes that are "non standard" due to age or disability. Also wish they came in more fun colors: blue, green, red, gray without a pattern, dark brown, etc. The pants wash well and look nice right out of the dryer. Bought two pair and am looking forward to a long relationship.

"Free" Returns - BUYER BEWARE that "Free Returns" is true only if you are lucky enough to have easy access to a UPS Store Drop-off facility. This item (Yogipace, Belt Loops, Women's XL Tall Straight Leg Four-Pocket Yoga Dress Pants) is one that says there is "Free Shipping" for returns (November 2022). That is only true if you are willing to drive to an official UPS Store Drop-off facility. You can NOT use a UPS Drop-off Point unless you pay a $5.99 charge. Be aware if you have not yet had this problem with UPS returns, that they've discontinued offering every free option for using a UPS Drop-off Point. There is no option to print a label like there was for an item I returned through a UPS Drop-off Point earlier this year, so do not count on that as a method of returning this item for free. I hope that Amazon can post accurate information about having to travel to specific return facilities when they post "free returns" statements next to items. Until then, we are all unable to know what it will cost to return items until the time comes for us to begin the returns process. I am now apprehensive about placing orders with Amazon and will probably do less on-line shopping because I feel like I was given misleading information about what it would cost me to return this item if it did not fit.As for the yoga pants themselves:Fit: "Tall" size is very, very long, which is why I need to exchange them for a shorter size. I usually need to order "tall" slacks if I want to wear them with heels/boots (although that was not my plan for these. I think I chose "Tall" by mistake when using the drop-down menu). The "Tall" slacks are much too long for me. If I return them (see my complaint above about so-called "free" returns), I will replace them with a "Petite" size because these are so very long. The waist/hips sizing is accurate and fit as expected (I bought an XL). They feel quite comfortable and stretch well and would be very comfortable for exercise or yoga class. They are quite snug to the torso and leg, so if you plan to wear these outside of the gym, you will want to make sure that your top is long enough to cover the troublesome areas that yoga pants are infamous for. I think that you could order a larger size than you usually wear to make them looser, but beware that returns as of Nov 2022 are not really free for those of us who do not live near a UPS Store Drop-off Facility.Fabric, garment construction, and care: The fabric feels soft and smooth and it has enough weight to it so that the slacks have structure. It seems to be woven well and will resist snags and pilling that often occurs with stretch fabrics. I would recommend washing them inside-out (as the care instructions advise) just to protect them from snags in the washing machine. I line-dry most of my clothing that are made of stretch fabric and I would recommend that for these yoga pants even though "Tumble Dry" is advised on the care instructions tag. The "Brown" color is a nice chocolate brown color, with no hint of rust or orange in it. It likely will run when you wash them the first few times, so plan to wash them with like colors for a while. They seem to be sewn well with the seams and waistband attached securely. All seams and edges are surged to prevent fraying, which is why I really don't want to cut them off and hem them myself instead of return them for a shorter length. I bought the style with four pockets, and all four are large enough to fit my hand into, although none is large enough to completely hold a typical 3" x 8" (8 x 20 cm) phone. The finishing work is likewise done quite nicely. There aren't any loose threads or areas where the seams look like they will fail. The tags on the inside are silky and so won't be a source of irritation. There is a decorative single button at the faux fly front that is small and rounded and so will not dig into your abdomen when bending over or sitting.Overall, these Yogipace women's trousers are quite nice. I did not want to reduce the 5-star rating for the clothing since that is likely why you are reading the reviews here. The (Nov 2022) problem with "free returns" being true for only a narrow set of circumstances may be solved by the time you are reading this, so I wanted to provide you with information and a rating about the garment instead of reflecting my unhappiness with the "free returns" in the star-rating.

The pants are very comfortable and quite flattering, my only complaint is the length! For reference I am 5'6" so I usually do not have an issue with pants being too long so if you are on the shorter end I would probably avoid these altogether unless you intend on having them tailored.

It's hard for me to find pants for my height (I'm 5'1) that don't end up bunching at the ankle or just end up on the floor/under my shoes while I walk but these fit me perfectly! I got the smallest length and they somehow fit me very well for being a bigger girl (200+lbs) and aren't sheer when I bend over. They also look very professional and my manager didn't even notice that they were stretchy (despite mentioning no more yoga pants for work). They also have decent sized front pockets (yes, you read that right, it has actual front pockets!!) and has back pockets but are a bit smaller. They also have belt loops if needing to sell the look of them being dress pants! Only caveat was that it caused me camel toe which I'm not fond of but I didn't feel it but my boyfriend could see it but luckily my shirt is long enough to cover down there and my apron covers it too so they're a win in my book as a server!

The pockets make these nice for Nursing Facility staff & look nice for after work as well.The fit could be a little tighter.

I think the material would need to be heavier to be appropriate for work. I got khaki and the pants hug every curve showing only what myself and my hubby should see if ya feel me. Thankfully I work from home so will keep them and get other colors ’cause they are comfy af.Betabrand makes good work/yoga pants that are not revealing.Recommend these just not in khaki if you work outside the home. Unless you have a long shirt to cover your girl parts or don’t care who sees what ( no judgment).

I’m 6’2 and I’ve got curves. I got these in black (the ones with the pockets) in both the 37” and 35”. I got 37” first and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were too long for me. The 35” fit perfectly.Because of my curves, I do pull the pants up slowly because there’s no zipper and I don’t want to cause a seam to pop. They’re super comfortable and they look like slacks when I pair them with my business casual jackets, cardigans, and work shoes. The material causes them to keep their shape/hold me in and they’ve got a nice weight to them without feeling hot. I ordered 5 pairs.

The pants are nice but run small

These are amazing. I'm 6'1 and plus size. I got an XL 37 length. The length is way too long but I love that because I would rather have to hem/fold them than wear flood pants.I'm not sure how they will wear out, but I'm replacing my betabrand work pants with these. I hope they never get rid of them. Very thankful for these pants !

These have become my most favourite pants. I live them so much I bought two pairs. I can relax in them during the day and add a nice shoe and wear them as dress pants during the evening or at work. I'm usually a 32 inch inseam so I bought the 33. A little bit long but I like that because usually my pants are too short.

I have abnormally long legs. It gets really hard to find pants, these are comfy, not too tight that it hurts but tight enough to make everything look on point ! 👌I would definitely by again

I was in search of a quality black dress pant and this product surpassed my expectations. It was my only option for an inseam of 36” as nowhere else sells this for women. There is clearly a retail need.
