No strap, but otherwise seems fine.
Arrived and tested today before packing for a trip out. As you can see from the photos it doesn’t come with the strap and a call to Amazon said best they could do was refund it if I return it. Not a great start.Comes packed as a length in a plastic bag. On opening one end of the length was fused but the other was just cut, but easy to melt yourself. Ensure you trim down the fire starter cord before you do though.Other photos show a small section showing all the “innards” of the cord are present. Fire cord starts easy, and the fishing line seems tough.Might buy more in the future after seeing how this works out, but would look for a cheaper price / greater length at this price to be honest.

Incredible product
This survival paracord is exactly that. Contains various strands inside. These really are useful on their own. The red cord is waxed fire cord very handy in rainy conditions, theres also a trapline very thin cord for snares etc a fishing line and nylon braided cord to make up the rest. I've only had a look and test the strength at home.due to the pandemic. But i cannot wait to try this out for all its intents and purposes. Obviously once you've cut your length as required, you should burn the ends again to seal it and prevent any cordage loss. All in all amazing product im very happy with it and i shall be getting more in future. Great job Wildair 10/10

Practice before needing it in an emergency.
The cord part is good and strong, excellent for lanyards and construction. The tinder part, less so. It needs to be flattened and shredded to work at all, I personally think that in an emergency situation using a ferrocium/magnesium stick it would be extremely hard to start a fire using this fire cord. I would make sure to practice in a controlled environment BEFORE getting out in a wilderness and needing to use it to survive.

Does what it says on the tin.
As a bushcraft enthusiast I like to use equipment that is good for more than one purpose. This definitely fits the bill. The fire lighting or tinder aspect of the cord interested me the most so I gave it a try using my fire steel and about 2ft of the red fire lighting strand and after a few attempts the cordage caught and gave a decent flame for a few seconds, drfinately enough to get a fire started.

What can you say it’s Paracord. We’re going to use it for anchoring a sun shade.
