This is a super fine decorative aquarium glass. If you're planning to use it as a substrate, you'll be disappointed by the quantity you get. If you're using it decoratively in addition to a substrate, I think you'll be pretty happy with it. I think there's probably about a 1-1.5 cups in the bag.I purchased three bags of aquarium glass online from a major chain pet store at the same time that I purchased this. The pet store bags were about half the price, but a third of the size, and had larger individual pieces that arrived absolutely filthy (I could barely see the product through the dirt stuck to the bag).This glass was clean and well-packaged, and the individual pieces are super fine compared to other aquarium glass I've seen for sale, which gives it a really pretty, jewel-like look in the tank. I bought it to add to aragonte sand to add some color and contrast to a shrimp tank, and it's exactly what I was looking for.I honestly think this is a great value for the price, maybe not when you think of it as a bunch of little glass drops- but certainly when you compare it to similar aquarium supplies on the market.

This is a scam! These tiny pieces of glass look absolutely nothing like the picture of the beads advertised! That picture of the beads in the description that are being held, is so deceptive! It is fraudulent! Now I get the hassle of returning all three bags, thanks!

These gravel-sized pieces of beach glass are perfect for an aquarium and look especially good against natural grey/slate gravel. They do not have any sharp edges, and they add just the right amount of sparkle and interest to an aquarium floor, creating a sense of a river on a landscape.

Color is vibrant. I purchased these to go in my beta tank. They look great as the tank has a light and it can shine through the rocks. They are tiny, & made of a type of plastic. One bag was enough for a 1.5 beta tank.

OMG.... the color is NOTHING like the picture in the ad. Do not buy this color.
