Rugged, but refined looking. I ordered them to brace up a headboard I'm making. They look good and feel very solid. Good value for the money.Edit: As noted, these brackets are perfect for the job where I needed them. I stand by that.But the screws that come with them are junk, so be prepared to replace them. First, they are flathead, but the screw holes are not reamed out to allow the screws to sit flush. They should supply round head screws. And the screws provided are junk. The heads of two of them snapped right off with normal torque.Buy the brackets. They really are excellent and a great value for the price. But bring your own screws.

These arrived earlier than expected and included all the mounting hardware in addition to the brackets. I used these to mount 2 new shelves in my workshop with 4 brackets each. The shelves held my 265 lbs without collapsing or pulling off the wall so I'm confident they'll hold anything I toss up there. Any DIYer should be able to mount these quickly and easily. An excellent value IMHO and you won't find a better deal.

These are excellent shelf brackets that are strong and light weight. The triangulation strut adds a lot of benefit. However, there are simple-to-solve design problems that are unfortunate and detract from use of these brackets. Owing to their strength, I mount them with the 8" side against a wall and the 12" side supporting a shelf to carry a larger load. There are two design problems. One is that the center-most of the three mounting holes is located very close to the acute angle side of the triangulated bracket and is directly in line with the reinforcing strut. Thus, it is impossible to even place a screw into the hole since the strut is in the way. This is a nonsense defect and could be easily fixed by relocating the hole. The second problem is that recently the manufacturer has switched from a former design that had larger holes on the 8" side to accommodate supplied heavy duty screws appropriate to support the weight the brackets can hold. The last batch of these brackets I purchased now have small holes on the 8" side and tiny screws that look incapable of securing and supporting the weight that the bracket can hold. Why this change was made makes no sense to me. My solution is to drill out the mounting holes to a larger diameter and use my own heaver duty screws (except in the center hole that is useless owing to its placement). With this modification, the brackets perform very well and are the best of this size that I have been able to find.

Ok so they gave me a free coupon for 25% off afterwards, but that is besides the point. We bought these for installing a some cat shelves to the wall. This means they have to be sturdy and reliable--- and they are. We even did a cat shelf thats 16" x 7" (so long sticking out, skinny left to right) and it only fits one wall mount. It works beautifully. I fully approve this product and even though I had to buy drywall screw pieces for the wall , that is expected to mount anything not on a stud, so entirely not the company's fault. They're stable, reliable, their skinny metal pole makes putting screws in so much easier than the fancy looking more expensive ones from home depot or lowes (discovered the other design flaw the hard way).I am ordering a second set. Because I need more. Buy these if you need shelf wall mounts for possibly heavy things.

Using for shelving in back patio. Installed in bricks with provided anchors... Very strong with no issues. Placement of holes. Made it easy to center across 2 bricks....Would buy again.
