I used them to cover a bad injury on my middle finger. They were smaller than I expected. Buy worked well to cover the injury. I have large hands and I looked at all the choices I could find because they looked bigger than most. I was mistaken.

The blue ones fit a women's finger but leave a mark on a mans. The black ones are a little larger and fit a mans finger better without leaving a mark on the finger from the elastic. They are all the same length and do stay in place. The batch we got are different widths. They work for what I bought them for.

I was desperate, frustrated and worried these wouldn't work either but the do! Regular finger cots cut the circulation off but these are comfortable AND seem to stay on! I'm going to report back after washing, it doesn't say how to wash but I'm going to do it by hand and air dry. They don't work with a touch screen but since I have other fingers free I just use them, with gloves that isn't an option! Sorry for all the exclamation points but I am just that happy to find these!!! The 2nd photo is with one of each size turned inside out.

I purchased these for work because the description said it protects against pointed objects and I use a tagger gun with a needle. This does NOT protect against pokes if that is what you are looking for. They also kept slipping off so that was annoying. Perhaps I'll use them when I work with my hot glue gun..?

I have to wear fingertip bandages for split fingertips. Slide one of these over the bandage and it keeps it from falling off. Works great.

was looking for protection - "penetration of pointed objects" as was included in description. Apparently doesn't include pins as was hoping. did find the fit comfortable. was tight enough if had worked, don't think would have interfered with working the project. was looking for something to protect my fingers from pins - needle felting. Was hoping, but didn't really expect would work. can't answer as to how would work with cutting tools.

Ordered several options to trial for punction protection from fine point knitting needles [typically sock size needles]. Sock needles poke right through. MIGHT work with non-latex finger cot layered on top of it [didn't work with said finger cot under thiszzpoke right through]. I also ordered some of these to test. Will fully test after split in finger pad fully heals. It also MIGHT be enough protection if finger not already injured.Tried with scissors seemed to protect, but can't imagine it helping with a knife point rather than blade.Did not test yet on touch screens.The two sizes are roughly adequate for my small hands. Haven't used long enough yet to see if the will loosen and slip off. [But read many descriptions to find ones small enough, so wanted to comment on fit for uses other than knitting finger protection from punctures.
