This purchase is still recent so I will update if anything changes.First off I bought this for my 2 year old niece. Keep in mind the stated age for this toy is 3-4 years, I made the decision to trust my niece's surprising maturity and her understanding of what a camera is, because of everyone else in her household using cameras all the time, that she won't use this in a hazardous way. I also asked others ahead of time if they thought a camera will be appropriate, so keep in mind the child's needs if you choose to forego the age suggestions.The camera is very cute, I picked blue because she seems to love blue things. It's a very small camera, like a toy or one of those little "spy cameras" but a little bigger than those. It fits in her tiny hands very well and seems well sealed and easy to hold onto with a grippy textured exterior so the child won't drop it too much. I also assume this rubbery outer part prevents too much breakage in such a case.If you buy this as a gift for a child I suggest you open and charge it up first, I didn't really think about that so I felt bad that she couldn't use it right away, because when she opened it and saw a camera it was instantly up to her eye, she was so ready, I could have cried, it was the cutest thing. She said "Camera!" and started trying to take pictures like her dad. Then dad (my brother) had to plug it in to charge so she was a little bummed but quickly distracted with another present. My brother was impressed with the size of the provided micro SD card and also with the feature of a reverse camera for selfies, and immediately took a picture of himself for her to see when she looks in her photos in the camera. It also comes with a small wrist lanyard so the camera can be attached to their wrist to prevent dropping or losing it.The only issue I've noticed so far is that the charging plug has some plastic missing so more metal on the charging cord is exposed than what should be, but it was charging and my brother said he'll probably buy a new cord. Just keep in mind that could be a thing you experience. But overall a great purchase, seeing how happy she was to have a camera like her dad's made my heart melt, I'm so glad I made this choice, and with her birthday right before all the holidays, now she has a way to take her own holiday pictures this year if she wants.

It was smaller than I expected but my 3 year old loves it!! It’s perfect for her little hands!! The picture quality is horrible but it’s mainly just for her to snap pictures and play so I’m not worried because we will not print any of them! Overall it’s a good buy for toddlers only!

My daughter (3) loves her camera, however I have to help her turn it on and navigate to the camera settings when it automatically turns off. Such a a great idea, but it doesnt need the extras. I love how it does have a selfie mode.

My granddaughter loves taking picture’s especially on holidays. She also plays the games. Those are a bit harder as she is only 3 an not sure how they work. The quality of the camera is great and fits her hand very comfortable. I would recommend for anyone that likes to take pictures. For older kids they may want a little better picture quality. We love it

The picture quality on this thing is great! Not just great "for a toy", but genuinely good quality. It can hold so many photos and kiddo can keep snapping away to his heart's content - this has been a huge plus. My 4 year old finds it easy to use, and he particularly enjoys the mini games and playing around with the digital frame feature - there are many cute ones on this device. It's a tad smaller than expected, but perfect for tiny hands and the display screen is still an adequate size and decent resolution. As far as durability goes, I considered taking off a star - it feels like it would not fare too well if stepped on by my husband, however, it's still completely in tact even after I accidentally stepped on it. I fully anticipate this breaking at some point and, you know what, I'd absolutely repurchase this llllanyway.It's a great value. If this is affordable for you and you have a creative child, just go for it. The hours of enjoyment this gives my kid have been absolutely priceless!

I recently bought this camera for a younger sibling of mine. She absolutely adores it! She is 2 years old and was able to understand how to turn on the camera, turn it off, and change from camera to video. She uses it daily to take photos of her daily toddler life and has loves it!It does include an SD card, a lanyard, charger (no charging port), and the camera! So I did not have to worry about getting an SD card.I think this is a great item to buy for younger children and allow them to explore photography :)The quality is not like an iPhone, but think of it as one of the reusable cameras of the “old days.”I have yet to print photos out for quality but I will update my review when I do.

This is a great first camera for small children. We got it for our 2 year old for Christmas as she loves taking pictures. The quality of the pictures isn’t the best but they are okay for her age. It took her a little time to learn how to use it and she kept wanting to use it like a touch screen. But after a little while she picked it up. It also comes with a few games but she doesn’t really understand how to play them. Where the camera charges broke though and it’s no longer able to to charge. I will be reaching out to the manufacturers to see if they can help. Will update.

I got this for my three-year-old daughter for her birthday because she has been asking for a camera. She ends up filling my phone up with 100 selfies lol so I decided to buy this after reading reviews! Today was only day one, but it looks and feels durable. It has cute little frames you can use for your pictures. Of course with the price I didn’t expect amazing picture quality, but it’s good enough for a little kid to have fun with, and make them feel like they are a photographer! It also comes with a SIM card, so you can develop their pictures for them! So far she loves it!!
