Good explanations
Our chemistry teacher says the explanations in this book are very well done, but it is 5 Steps to a Four because it does not cover the hardest problem types well.Small size made it easy to carry around for doing a little review on the run.

Good for class, not as good for the AP exam
This book was extremely helpful for studying for in-class tests and quizzes. The explanations are thorough, and the questions cover a wide variety of topics, including the ones not talked about very often. However, this was more like 5 steps to a 4 because the questions were not at all like the actual test day questions, and several questions had typos or errors in them, which were not updated in the 2019 version. Overall, a decent review book, but nothing more.

Lots of good questions... Obviously, not perfect but worth the price!
Lots of good questions. There are a few mistakes, but overall it gave my students lots of great questions for review.

Get a proof reader
Did anyone proof read this book? I just started using it with my AP Chemistry class today and already two of the answers to the multiple choice are wrong. Question 3 is explained correctly but the answer is wrong (It should be A and not B). Question 24 is also wrong. I have not gotten any farther in the book so who knows how many answers are wrong. If a student were using this book it would lead to confusion if they just check the answer without reading the explanation and figuring out that the wrong answer had been chosen. Typos also abound. Mo is listed as Mb in question 6 and numbers are copied incorrectly in the answer key. This book might be helpful if you read the answer key carefully but it is frustrating when you try to do the multiple choice and check answers quickly.

Lebitz' contribution to the field to have the best practice questions out there
I taught AP Chemistry for 12 years. With the dearth of actual released College Board materials for students to use as practice for the AP Exam (especially with the new revised curriculum) I have bought and read and used every review book for AP Chemistry ever written by anyone. I found Ms. Lebitz' contribution to the field to have the best practice questions out there.
