A great huckleberry jam with all natural ingredients!
On our recent trip to Glacier National Park, we noticed that everywhere seemed to be advertising huckleberry everything! Fresh huckleberries, huckleberry ice cream, huckleberry syrup, huckleberry jam, huckleberry pie. I admit that I'd heard of huckleberries, but had never tried them or ever seen them for purchase. So of course, we decide to give them a try. We really enjoyed them! They have a very blueberryish flavor, but yet very unique. Very sweet and tart! We bought a jar there and quickly ate all of it when we got home.However, in the midwest, there are no huckleberries. I found several products online, but at fairly high cost. I found this odd, until I learned that there are no huckleberry 'farms,' the berries grow wild and harvested by the Pacific Northwesterners and then made into tons of locally made products. They aren't widely available outside the Pacific Northwest and Montana, and their rarity creates the higher cost.We decided to try this variety for its natural recipe and good value. We were not disappointed! This jam is delicious, and not outrageously priced considering the free shipping. The company also packed it extremely well, layered in bubble wrap to make sure it arrives at your door in 1 piece! If you're on the fence about trying this, I encourage you to go for it! If you like blueberries, you will love huckleberries!

Unique item!
Loved the container! When I was in Montana and huckleberry ice cream the taste was a little different. However, since you can't get huckleberry anything in California, this is the next best thing. I spoon over ice cream and spread on toast. And will purchase again.

Something different for a change
If your heart is set on trying huckleberry jam, this jam is very good and was a worth while purchase. How ever, even with the understanding that this product has to be hand picked and only comes from a certain area and picked in a short season the high cost is hard to justify slapping this jam on top of a peanut butter sandwich every day for your five year old. Be selfish and don't share with the kids.

Tastes like vacation
We think huckleberry anything is great. Whenever we are in the upper Rockies we always load up and bring syrup and jam home. This is a way to get our huckleberry fix when we can't get there. They are a little expensive but that's to be expected concerning huckleberry anything.

Lovely taste and texture with clean ingredients
We have tried several brands of Huckleberry jam and this has proven to be the best in taste and texture. It has a nice,spreadable consistency and the flavor is pure huckleberry. We also love the very straight forward ingredient list.
