Binky Under Pressure (Binky Adventure, A, 3)

Omigoodness, that Binky! Trying so hard to take care of his naive humans leads to so many adventures. My grandchildren just love all the Binky books. Easy enough for the five year old to read on his own (with a little help) and the comic book style drawings tell the story well enough for the three year old to make it up as she goes. And those drawings are as entertaining as the stories. I know some parents may "poo poo" (no pun intended) the occasional stress-induced flatulence that Binky suffers, but it's all in silly fun and in the end it's just the story of a cat, not manners.

My daughter doesn't like to read so it's been a struggle finding books that keep her interest. She loves the Binky books and sits down to read them as soon as she gets a new one. They also use some bigger new words which I like because it helps her learn new words with each book. Win!

So cute I stocked this at Amazon and had to have it for myself (I'm 27). The art is beautiful and the humor is good for adults and kids.

I'm a 3rd-5th grade teacher and my kids really enjoy this comic book series. The best part is that it's leveled for Accelerated Reader (AR), so my kiddos get points for reading it. As an adult, I can appreciate appropriate comic books for children, especially since we should be providing multiple genres of text.

Read all the Binky books. Fall in love with this quirky cat. We did in my house and this book is ranked as my daughter's favorite Binky book. She has returned to it over and over again, giggling and snickering at what makes Binky tick/sweat/worry. The illustrations are just enough to tell the story without overdoing it. The very notion of a cat with space gas just adds to the overall experience and need to snicker. Spires has given life to a fantastic critter with a very memorable personality.

As with all Binky books this one provides a cute, humorous story that is easy to read. My 8 year old is a huge Binky fan and loved this book.

Really cute series. My daughter is 7 and loves these books! Fun for the adults to read too.
