Q: Will splashing from hand washing set off the alarm?

Yes i believe it will. Our little one set it off by licking it first time we put it on her. It is VERY easy to reset so I am glad that it is quite sensitive. I would not shy away from it for that reason. We also have a floating alarm for the pool which We should have skipped. The safety turtle is a much better safeguard as the floating alarm would not trigger if she jiust slipped into the water slowly rather than falling in. We love it and she it does not seem to bother her to wear it.

Q: What is the range from the bracelet to the alarm base?

I left the base inside my home (5500 square feet) and the bracelet was out by the pool which covered around 50 feet. The bracelet works from that range

Q: Has anyone used this in Europe? I know I will need an adapter for the plug, but I’m concerned about the frequency

It should work , once the recover is in the socket . Cell phones work so this should be fine.

Yes or pin it to what they are wearing
