This is exactly what I expected. They are the perfect size for a nose ring for me, my only complaint is because the stones are so tiny, they don't catch much light like in the product photos. In the picture with my hand, the smaller side of the jewelry is the gem and the larger side is the back.

I have tried a few different nose studs of differing styles. This style (pulls apart to insert) is by far the easiest and most comfortable to use. Because of the flat back, this stud cannot fall out easily like the ones with a ball on the end can, and the flat back is much more comfortable than the cork screw back. Once you pull the top from the post and insert the post in nostril hole (from inside facing out), re-insert the top part way then carefully bend the top so there’s a slight bend in the metal. Then finish fully pushing the top piece into the post. There are lots of videos on YouTube describing how to insert this type of stud, and I highly recommend watching them if you’re unfamiliar with this stud. Bending the metal of the top piece once it’s partially inserted prevents the top piece (where the gem is) from accidentally falling out when you wash your face etc. The gem is small but pretty. The post is 20 gauge with a 6 mm post. Perfect for nostril hole.

This is a super cute teeny teeny ring it was the perfect size except the Opal wasn’t there it’s pretty obvious if an Opal stone falls out of jewelry. I wrote the seller but whatever. I’m not even sending it back it’s worthless without the gem and so tiny. ButNot sure I’ll reorder anything from here again. Good luck to everyone else.

The picture used for this listing is deceptive, because it shows the head of the piercing being wider than the base, but that is not the case. The actual visible part of the piercing is tiny, so if you want a very petite and cute little gem, this is great. Like, the gem itself is about the size of the tip of a ballpoint pen. If you were hoping for something that looked a little bit more like the picture, this will be disappointingly small. I will say that the shorter length of the stud works way better for my nose, and overall I am happy, I just wish the proportions of the stud were closer to the picture.

I had been searching long and hard for 20G flat backs. I had one years ago that I sadly had to take out and lost it. I'm one of those who lost the regular bone style studs once or twice a week and this has been a game changer! The size is perfect for me. I highly recommend buying one of those flat back applicators, otherwise getting it in place is almost impossible. I will be buying more in the future as I change up my color themes!

This jewelry is good quality metal. The 6mm length is perfect for my nostril. It doesn't get snagged or fall out. My only complaint is that the gem is way too small to see the color like in the stock photo. Please make the gem bigger!

If you are looking for a tiny sparkler for your nose, this is the one! It's so dainty and pretty. So comfortable, I can't even tell it's there. It lays perfectly flat on the nostril and doesn't catch or snag on clothes or towels. I prefer this style of threadless push-in labret for the nostril rather than a screw or nose bone because it's super secure and stays put, there's no threading to irritate sensitive skin, and you can switch out the top easily if you want. The 6mm length is just enough for me, but if you have thicker cartilage in your nostril it might not work for you. I bought the AB and the clear, and will be getting all the other colors soon. I have metal sensitivity and can only wear titanium or 14/18K gold - this doesn't irritate at all so I believe it is real titanium. I'll definitely continue to purchase Pierced Owl items.

I have always gotten the knots in my ear lobes from the trauma of the piercing and sleeping with regular earrings only makes it worse. These have changed that for me. I still have the knots but they don't get inflamed. B/c these are so tiny I would recommend using tweezers to put the gem part in and standing on a towel incase you drop it. I love these sleepers!

I don't fill out these reviews often, but this product definitely deserves one. I have had my nose pierced for several years now, but had a hard time finding a nose ring that I liked. The screw and L shaped ones were always poking up because the stem was too long, causing them to catch on absolutely everything. They also kept turning and poking out of my nostril which was not a pleasant sight. I lost several of the straight ones as they did not stay in, especially during allergy season. I took a chance and ordered one of these to see if it would work. Best decision ever!! The stem is the perfect length, no more poking up and snagging. The flat back is comfortable against the inside of the nostril. The gem is small, but it has just enough color and shine to be noticed without being obnoxious. Only issue I had, was putting it in for the first time, as it has to go from the inside of the nostril out. I highly recommend this product. Great quality, definitely worth the price.

I got the 6mm rod Aurora Borealis. It's the first one small enough to fit my nose and not hit the other side! It's small, but with just enough sparkle to be noticeable. It was not fun getting it in, but I don't plan on changing it for awhile! Even pulled on it to test it and it didn't come out! 😁 I am very happy with it, and if I decide to change it, will buy from this brand again!

the product was way too small. I wouldn't even call this a stud I would call this a needlepoint. Fell right through my ear lobe when I tried to put it on. I expected it a bit bigger or at least to be able to fit in my ear.The picture where the person has it put in for some kind of size comparison is false advertising.
