YUDODO Pet Dog Sling Carrier Breathable Mesh Travel Safe Sling Bag Carrier for Dogs Cats (L(up to 14 lbs), Orange Reflective)

I needed a bag for my chihuahua who has some mobility issues. She cannot take really long walks, her back legs can't handle it. I saw this bag and said what the heck, it's reasonably priced. Here is the breakdown...Warning--- I have 4 dogs, who are all under 25 lbs.ProsIt works- she rides in it well. Easy to get her in and out (mostly, see later notes). I got the bigger one and that's ok because I needed to carry one of my other dogs one day and he fit (sort of) as well. I also had another dog recovering from a spay that needed walk restrictions and she rode in it smoothly. You can put a towel or blanket in if needed.Rides decent- it is on your chest/ belly area. Does bounce a little but stay there. (see other notes)Affordable- for the price, its easier than making your own.ConsRide quality- there is no stabilizer strap across your middle so it bounces and swings out when you lean. I have to bend over to pick up poop 4 times during our walks so this can be a bother.Adjustability- This is really a bad point. There is very little adjustability. The one point lets you shorten the strap a little. I find myself hiking this thing up higher on my chest regularly even with my 9 lb dog.Dog retention- there is this weird, for lack of a better term, choker string that has a barrel adjuster on the neck area. It is inconvenient and for us, not needed. It gets in the way of loading/unloading.Breathability- it gets darn hot in there in the summer heat, I just carried her, winter should be fine.Storage- Hahahahaha!!! Unless you have a Nokia flip phone from the 80's there is no storage! There is a tiny mesh pocket on the strap. That's it! If I am going for a long walk with my guys (1.5 hours) I have to put on a backpack with water bottle and bowl. Then put the dog carry bag on. I barely can fit 4 dog harnesses and their 6 foot leads in this thing.As with any purchase, this is based on your needs. If you have a mobility challenged pet, you guys don't walk very far or you are ok with carrying him/her a lot, then you can use this bag. If you carry your phone, wallet and keys with you when you walk you should use some other sort of bag in addition to this one. In a rainstorm I was able to put part of my coat over her but this bag is not waterproof at all and I would not trust it to hold electronics. Though I guess if you have room you could put it under your dog in a ziploc wrapped in a towel?For a relatively cheap solution, for a very specific situation, this bag does work.Do your research and get out there with your pup!

Great bag. I bought it for a 5lb Cavalier KCS. She’s still very small but moves around a lot and has plenty of space for her to even turn all the way around inside. The clip on the inside strap to connect to her colar or harness broke way too easily on the first use. I keep one arm around the bag, near her chest and neck and kind of hold her in place so she doesn’t wiggle out though so no big deal if she’s not clipped in. The draw cord to close the opening can be a little sturdier too but ultimately does the job. I wish the bag itself had a longer strap to carry it comfortably or to adjust the length more to go around my chest. It’s a little snug around and it makes it slightly tight around my neck and shoulder. She is getting heavier and bigger of course so i likely won’t be using it much longer now that she’s old enough to walk on the ground without risk of diseases. I honestly believe that the bag is sturdy enough to last long for a smaller breed pup though.

After researching dozens of pet slings, we ordered this one (Med) for our 17yo Bengal cat as he's no longer able to enjoy walks on his leash. At 7# with a 14.5" back he fits fairly comfortably, albeit curled up, riding snugly over my hip and with his head facing forward just above mid-waist. This center, head forward position reduced bouncing and allowed for a smooth "ride" for him; and, with the comfortable, easy to use strap, his weight was so well distributed, there was no noticeable pressure on my shoulder or to my lower back. The materials used are sturdy and the design is well thought out for it's basic purpose: short walks. However, I would not recommend this sling for taking a pet out for extended periods for the following reasons:1. Design doesn't really allow pet to withdraw it's head inside sling if it wants to get out of sun/wx or away from people. It's a sling, not a backpack carrier.2. Interior bottom doesn't provide much support (again, it's a sling). May not be appropriate for older, larger, longer pets or those suffering from joint pain, etc. Our cat is 17 yo and very long ( 14.5" back), but is still able to curl up comfortably inside the Medium. May get him a Large so we can add a small cushion or very small kiddie blanket to increase support.3. While the sling does have some mesh in the front, about 1/4 of the front and the remainder of the sling's bottom, back & sides are a solid material. While this material is a good grade, seems easy to clean, looks great and even helps provide a level of support, it is not very breathable. We live in FL and even walking our pets in the early AM or late evening hours, this may be an issue. We will likely add a cooling towel at the bottom of the sling and keep our walks short to be sure our pet doesn't get over heated. More mesh on sides in next version may help.Note: There are some manufacturers who have taken this concern into consideration in their designs for pet slings & carriers. Consider them if heat is a concern for your pet.Overall, this sling is a very fine product if used as designed. Good materials, easy to clean, easy to use, comfortable for pet & owner. Be sure to measure & weigh your pet before ordering! Use provided size chart. Not for larger dogs or cats! This product provides a safe, simple, comfortable and reasonably priced way (similar to a baby sling & BabyBjörn) to take your small cat or dog with you for outdoor walks and mutual enjoyment.

I have used this YUDODO Pet Sling Carrier for almost a year. I have found it very comfortable to use carrying my 11 lbs dog around since she has arthritis. The straps are wide and spread the weight around on my shoulders. The little pouch for holding a roll of dog pooh bags is a nice idea, but it could use a velcro top on it because the roll can be squirted out while handling the sling carrier. I don't use the draw string and I have found that it tends to get in the way of getting my dog into and out of the carrier. Some velcro straps to help seal the top would have been better.

This product arrived in very time and in excellent condition and has proved to be extremely effective and useful for carrying my chihuahua puppy around on walks and on shopping trips. The extra attachments are very useful too. A very worthwhile purchase indeed. Many thanks.

Not securing my teacup chihuahua, it stretches the neck line and zipper while he moves and is able to jump out of it. I wasted my trip to grocery store. He's under 5lbs by the way. Not worth the money, i would give this zero ratings if i could not even worth the one star.
