Single Wall Galvanized Metal Duct Reducer 7" to 5" / 7" x 5"

Product was used on replacement vent hood on stove. Old unit used 5" exhaust and I did not want to change out the whole line thru the roof. I used this adapter to go from 7" connection on new unit to 5" existing line and it allows the system to run just fine. This part is more sturdy than most of the rest of the system.

Fit perfectly. I measured before I ordered. No dents or any issues. This allowed me to install my vent hood myself and made it easy. It does not come with a damper so if your vent system does not have one on the outside you may need to purchase one of those as well.

Being only 30 gauge this item was a little flimsy. Product arrived a little bent and warped but it only took 2 seconds to reshape it.

Worked perfect for range hood replacement

Item received has a taller aspect ratio than what is pictured. It is 8 inches tall and was received with one dent and one deformation on the lip due to sloppy power riveting machine operation. Overall it will do the job if you have room for the longer taper section in your installation.

Looked everywhere locally and couldn't find the right size but looked on Amazon and there it was. 5x7 inches.

Exactly as advertized. Good quality, size was perfect, good price. Recommended.

Did the job it needed to but was a little tall for the area it went into. Had to make modifications to the Cabinetry.
