Good with heat, and it fits okay!As good as advertised. The gloves are amazing and well worth the extra couple bucks to not worry about dropping a hot cast iron skillet on my footFirst, the gloves work -- they keep your hands cool and the length up the arms is helpful.The raised silicone grips are also a very helpful touch, and are a real aid when it comes to getting a good, dependable grip, on something hot. I did receive these gloves for a discount to write my unbiased review about them, but I have personally recommended them to my buddy, and he was also greatly impressed when trying them out while I was grilling. They are an excellent aid in the life of anyone who grills or cooks.After this product arrived it smelled horrible, but then after i checked the material i realized it is pretty normal for this type of products. Lft it on a fresh air for a while, put in a laundry detergent and now its good. I love they are long, my hands are long comparing to other people so this is very important to me and only then the product fullfills the purpose, to protect hands.They feel tight enough, hold strong and also is enough sensitivity while using them.I personally like this product and recommend it also to others who need something like this.I love how these help to balance the safety factor, without compromising dexterity. I have used another type of glove, and while it did indeed do fine for protection against heat, it definitely minimized your hand/finger dexterity. I really greatly prefer gloves that manage to provide excellent protection, and still afford maximum finger and hand movement, with no limitations.

At first I was concerned about how these would fit as I do not consider myself having big hands, I was worried these would be to big for me. But they are just perfect, with a hand circumference (around the palm just below the knuckles) of 21cm (~8.25in) and hand length (from the bend in the wrist to the tip of the middle finger) of 19cm (~7.5in) these are a perfect fit, I can easily move my hand and fingers freely. I mostly use them to handle a cast iron dutch oven for baking bread at 250°C (482°F) and had not had any issue so far.

Works well. The only reason I reduced one star is that they are a little too big for my hands, and so my fingers tips don't reach to the tip of the glove. There are no other sizes available. It would be nice to get these gloves in a smaller size. I like the fact that these are "gloves" and not "mittens", which gives me a better grip on the item I am holding.

Came on time and in prime condition. We've had them a little over a month, and they're holding up well. Long term? Obviously can't really say. My wife and I both use them all the time for general kitchen cooking, including grilling. Excellent protection and grip. Grip can be a problem with other heat-resistant gloves, but not here. Decent fit for both us (about average size hands). We decided to go for the black gloves with the orange "buds," and they turned out to be surprisingly attractive. If you expect heat-resistant gloves not to be bulky or to fit your hand, well, "like a glove." or expect to be able to pick up a dime off a kitchen counter with them, look elsewhere, though I'm not sure where. Reasonable expectations will be met by these--and a little more.

If you use commen sense and understand these are cheaper cloth gloves. These gloves are great. I use them all day long at my smokehouse. I've grabbed smouldering logs, tested them under hot fire, and grabbed many hot pans. Sure of course they got hot and I had to take them off. But who really holds their hands in hot fire for 45 seconds. Don't use them when they're wet. Once again commen sense. So none the less I'd recommend them especially at the cheap price. 3 Stars because it didn't exceed my expectations. It just met my expectation.

These gloves are AMAZING!! We use this when we BBQ and with open flames and all you do NOT feel any heat at all. It is as if no fire is near your hand, they work that well. So I decided to try these when I bake. I put on the gloves and grabbed the metal pans and nothing. Did not feel the heat from the oven nor on my hands from grabbing the pan. I even walked with the pan in my hands to show everyone how it came out and even though I was holding the hot pan I felt nothing. If I ever loose these I will get another set. I am now thinking of getting this as Gifts for my baker friends and BBQ friends. A+++++++++

This is the second pair of these gloves I’ve purchased. The first pair I wore out working at a pizza restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, these gloves are very durable, but I gave them a workout. This pair I bought for home use like baking or grilling. The fit is good for any hand size.

Concept is great, oven mitts are not easy to use and especially if you need to use them in fireplace or wood stove. There is a difference between heat resistant and fire resistant or combination. Well, in the oven no open flames, just heat resistant is good enough, not so much for fireplace and wood stove. These pair of gloves supposed to be fire resistant. Well, perhaps they are. They do not burn or melt on your hand, however they do not stop the heat! Sometimes I have to stir things around and place new wood, so my hand may stay inside the hot stove about a minute. Bad idea... You start feeling the heat, it starts burning your skin that is glove is fine. So, think about this before you buy it
