Small but powerful!
The media could not be loaded. I was quite pleasantly surprised when I got this small food chopper. It is only about 4 inches tall about 3.25 inches in diameter, but it does a great job of chopping foods if you only need a small amount. The first time that I used this was for garlic that I wanted to have rough chopped for some chili. I put 7 cloves of peeled garlic into the machine, connected the top and pushed the button and it chopped them up perfectly. If I had wanted them to be finer in size, I could have pushed the button longer, but a few seconds was all that it took. The machine is not very loud which is a plus in my book. It comes with a recharging USB cord and that is another great feature. It comes with 2 sets of blades and they are quite sharp, so you will want to exercise caution when cleaning them. It also comes with a small instruction manual which is easy to understand.Cleanup is pretty easy. I don't use a dishwasher on my appliances so I washed it by hand. I would not use this in the dishwasher. It store easily and is a pleasure to use.I would highly recommend this product. I did receive this product in exchange for an honest review . I am very happy with my purchase of this small chopper.

Simplify a cooking chore and cleanup is a snap
I use a fair amount of fresh garlic each week. I still prep each clove by hand. Separate the cloves from the bulb, cut off the ends and peel the skin all by hand. I mostly use my knives to mince, chop or smash the cloves. If I am making a Portuguese or Italian dish that requires a lot of minced garlic I have been grabbing my large food processor. Not anymore. I bought this electric mini garlic chopper to try and have been very pleased with its performance. Working backwards, cleanup is a breeze. A quick swish in sudsy water with a quick brush and it is clean. After drying I reassemble and just put it beside the knife block on the kitchen counter. It is almost invisible but ready for the next meal.To accompany my mini chopper I also purchased a set of garlic skin removing rollers. I get the needed number of cloves, chop the ends, pop them into a roller and a few quick and forth motions my garlic is ready for the mini chopper. I added five cloves, put on the lid and pushed the button a few times until I had the size I wanted. This is the palm slap to the forehead moment when I realize I would never need the big food processor or the knives for such a mundane task. I finished processing the rest of the garlic, cleaned and put the mini away faster than it would have taken to assemble my big food processor. A chore I dreaded because of my finger joint problems is once again a no hassle cooking task. The only downside is that it is a USB charged device. Not so much a downside but dealing with the funny looks from my wife when the garlic chopper is sitting next to my computer while charging. I charged it when I received the package and used it five times with no need for recharging. A good purchase at a good price. Bon Appétit

Huge time saver!
My wife signed us up for one of those meal delivery service things, where they provide the ingredients and recipe, and you just cook it. Pretty nice, but very quickly I started to dread the finely chopping garlic, shallots, herbs step that should supposedly late 1 minute, but actually took me 10+.I tossed 5 rather large cloves of garlic into this thing on its first use, and was so happy with how good it did. I had my doubts when I saw the spacing of the blades, and the speed of rotation. How could it possibly chop fine enough? No issues though. Toss in the cloves, push the button for a short time, and you’re done! The device comes with a charging cable. It uses micro USB, but does not come with the wall adapter. No worries, by now we all have a drawer full of those things. It comes with 2 sets of blades which is nice, although I feel you can quickly rinse the blades in the sink if you need to do multiple ingredients. The one down side I would point out is that while the cup/lid piece and blades can be tossed into the dish washer, the battery part can not, but does contact food. The need to wash a piece that has an internal battery makes me feel like I should be pretty careful.Overall this is a nice device. Even with an extra minute to clean it up, it saves so much time I would reach for it every time.

Doesn’t start when you need it to.
I like the chopper when it works. Chops ginger a s garlic the way I need it. The one issue I have with this is to get started. It takes me few open and close and press to get it to start. It’s frustrating when you want it to work.

A Great Helper In The Kitchen
The media could not be loaded. When we opened the package the garlic chopper came in, we were surprised to see a USB charging cord. Yes, this small chopper can be charged using a USB cable. But don't let the fact that this is a battery powered device. It's a workhorse. It also comes with two extremely sharp chopper blades. Be careful! I accidentally cut myself cleaning the blades. We put it to the test. First garlic. It made mincing garlic so easy and fast. 6 cloves in 5 seconds. Then we decided to try mincing a Jalapeño pepper. Usually dicing a pepper makes me tear and sneeze. Not this time. The pepper was all diced up in a matter of 5 seconds. Our recipe also called for lemon zest. Would our new processor be able to chop up lemon peels? Absolutely! In 5 seconds it mined a cut up lemon, skin and all. Much faster than grating lemon skin.We got the chopper to speed up the process of preparing garlic. But now we see that this will be an often used kitchen appliance. It's powerful, fast and easy to clean. And for the price, it's a must have in the kitchen.

Absolute winner!
This is the handiest little gadget I've bought in years. Minces up vegies like carrot and celery and onion in seconds. Does a great job of garlic and ginger. I haven't tried if for nuts but I'm sure it would be great for them too. Super easy to clean, just run it under the tap. I bought one for both my sons I was so happy with it. Highly recommended.

Stopped working after one use
Broke after one use! I used it to grind two cloves of garlic and it shut off after about 30 seconds of use and stopped working again.
